Git up 'n' go.

Dakine's Charger Crew Jersey uses lightweight polyester with an antimicrobial treatment to create a cool, comfortable summer jersey for lung-busting climbs and hair-raising descents. It dries quickly and fights off odor, courtesy of built-in antimicrobial technology, so you stay dry and sweet-smelling all day, even when you've been cranking under the hot sun. The Charger also has mesh side and back panels for added ventilation, an extended back hem for full coverage, and a goggle wipe inside the hem to keep your shades crystal clear.

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.

Camo makes you fast & sneaky in the wood

  • Size Bought: Large

I'm 5'11" and weigh 175lbs. I'm usually a large in all shirts I wear, this was no exception. I've literally scared a couple of people wearing the camo jersey as they don't see me coming. Plus, I'm convinced that I'm faster wearing it (kidding).

- Fits well. Its the right amount of being relaxed for a mtb jersey.
- Was a fan of the camo/black color scheme. Some camo looks weird or too much like I'm trying to go hunting, think Dakine nailed it. Might not be for everyone's color tastes though.
- It does dry quick and breaths well and I can get notoriously overheated too fast, so this is essential for me.

- Can't totally put my finger on it, but neck feels a little tight or a little too high. Would have preferred it a bit more relaxed or maybe a small V to have less constriction, especially when doing a highly aerobic activity.
-Despite the antimicrobial properties claimed, the polyester can still get some riding funk going on. Hasn't seemed to get the perma stink some polyesters I've had before have gotten though.

For the one minor design flaw of the jersey cut, it comes out very much on top. Feels good when wearing it around and actually riding and actually looks cool - just make sure to stay on top of laundry and you'll be set (pretty much a good hygiene tip in general I suppose)

Cool and Comfortable

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

This was my first Dakine Jersey and I was very pleased with how it performed. It breathes very well due to the mesh side paneling. The material seems resilient enough to stand up to a few good crashes and it works well as a layering piece should you need to add a long sleeve jersey or shell over top.
I will try additional Dakine products after this experience.

Great Jersey

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have a few of these jerseys and love them. Dakine makes a great fitting jersey. Vented shoulder and armpit areas helps keep you cool. Not only do they function well but they make you look cool and ride faster!
