Cutter Little 500 Mini Pump $0.00
Like a stock car pitstop. But sober.
What community has to say
I always have this in my pack when I hit the XC trails. The t-handle is great, and I really like how it has a pressure gage. Cutter gear seems to be pretty legit, and you can't beat the warranty on their products.
pressure gauge on a mini pump? sweet.
today was the first occasion for me to try out my pump, and it compares quite favorably to the other mini-pumps that I have used.
the handle that swivels into a "T" shape, and the built in pressure gauge made the process of patching a flat much less of a hassle.
Additionally, the valve lock grips the valve stem as well as many floor pumps!
Dependable, durable and light!
So far this has saved me once and my buddies more than a few time on the trail. I use a pretty small sized camelbak and this fits snugly next to my water bladder. Overall it is quite light and easy to use. Having the Presta and Schrader valve-compatible is a definite plus, since I ride my townie. I just throw this into my oversized purse along with a spare tube and what not. You just never know and it sucks to get a flat miles away from home. Great buy overall!
comes with attachment
I bought it because its light and it does the job correctly, it comes with an attachment so you can make your bike the station for your pump.
I thought that was great on the creators of this new brand!
keep it up
Cutter Little 500 Mini Pump
The Cutter Little 500 Mini Pump is a great pump for bringing along on your ride. It is very lightweight, but works pretty fast. The end flips out to give you a nice flat surface to push/pull with, which makes it a little more comfortable to use.
Trouble free for a three months now. The Cutter Little 500 Mini Pump is a solid unit that accompanies me on road and mountain rides. Only complaint is having to unscrew and flip the Presta/Schrader inside the pump head.
I bought this pump to use for my road bike...
I bought this pump to use for my road bike in case I got a flat on the 10 mile ride into work.... When the inevitable happened... I tried using this pump with little success...
I assume to make it work for road valves you unscrew the cap, and flip around the little green plastic bit, and screw it back on..... still wouldn't fit.
I even tried using an adapter on my presta valve to make it shraeder, except the little green plastic bit that is sticking out that is supposed to work ends up just pressing down on the presta part of the valve and deflating it.
I noticed from the pictures that little green plastic bit is inside at the end of the pump, but on my pump it sticks out a couple of centimeters....
is my pump broken... defective? any tips?
any help would be appreciated.
This guy is a little on the pricey side as well. Performance Bike shop sells these for $13. Perfect size to fit in your Camelbak for emergency use. 40-60psi takes quite a few pumps. 100psi will take several minutes and may not even be possible.
Good for low pressure and low volume
You really have to pump a lot for this little guy to work. If you're trying to get your road tube up to 110 psi it will be one heck of a job. If you're content with 60 psi this works fine.
It's light, it works on both strokes, it works.
A note for schrader/presta compatibility, you have to unscrew the cap and flip the rubber bushing and the green whatever-it-is to get the presta valve to seal correctly.
So so device
It works. It does not work well, but it works. I have a heck of a time getting it to work with presto valves.
