great price

No reason to spend $$$ on a wear item. This chain one of the best bang for the buck items out there. Now you can afford to replace that chain before it starts to wear out your drivetrain

    Cost effective

This chain is pretty much a no-brainer for the price. It's not XTR hollow pin light, but it is comparable to mid-level chains. It's lighter than a SRAM-991 (292g) and just slightly heavier than a Shimano XT (283g). The only real weight gain is going to be in your wallet from saving some bills.

If you're riding frequently, you'll probably be changing your chain once or twice a year. Why not get one that gets the same job done for half the cost.

      Cutter 9 Chain

This chain was a good replacement for the old one that broke on my bike. It was definitely longer than we thought, and had to remove a few links. So far it is holding up well, with no complaints.

Any idea how well this chain meshes with SRAM cassettes? (970/990 stuff) I've always used SRAM chain/cassette combos and had really good luck, but the value on this chain is getting hard to ignore.

I've been running both the Cutter 9 and 10 speed chains on my bikes and have had nothing but good luck with them. Both are on mountain bikes and so they've been taking a lot of abuse and neither have rusted out or stopped shifting well or broken. And I'm a big guy who knows a little something about breaking chains. I definitely recommend.

          Awesome Chain!

This chain is awesome! Its a little heavy in my opinion, but extremely strong. I broke a few chains in the same spot on the same trail both times and this chain has no problems. It gets noisy when its dirty, but well worth it knowing it is not going to break on you. I recommend this chain to any mountain biker/XC rider!

This chain comes with a master link?

This chain comes with a master link?

Instructions that come with chain imply it has to be connected with master link, not riveted. And according to hucknroll chat, this chain does require a master link and cannot be riveted. But it doesn't ship with a master link, and hucknroll doesn't stock the master link. Not the right shape for a paper weight either.

Is it compatible with Campy? I have a nine speed chorus set-up.
