Description

Dead-on balls accurate.

Most mini-pumps make you guess about air pressure. That's right—the old tire squeeze. Not exactly scientific, is it? Not scientifically exact, either. The Crank Brothers Sterling SG has a handy pressure gauge built into the head, so you can get the pressure exactly right, even on the trail.

The high-volume, dual piston Sterling SG pump can get you all the way to 100 PSI if you need it to, and it does it in a hurry. A reversible head adapts to your valve stem whether it's Shrader or Presta. The best part? The SGS weighs just 141 grams, so you won't even know it's there until you need it.

The Crank Brothers Sterling SG Pump comes in one size. It's available in Silver.

Great compact tire pump

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This pump has saved my butt several times on the trail when my Co2 cartridges fail. Solidly made, super easy to use valve that works with both schrader and presta valves without having to change anything in the pump head. The gauge is great for fine tuning pressure on my mountain bike. It also has a switch to change from low volume action (for road) to high volume (Mountain). All in all, nicely made, nicely thought out product that has a permanent spot in my backpack.

I didn't see info in the "description & specs" section about mounting the pump to the frame. Does it come with hardware for this?

Don't think it comes with a mount - small enough to stash in a jersey pocket though :)
