Don't worry though, we have a lot more Clipless Pedals in stock than that.

Crank Brothers knows how hard you ride, so even though the used titanium construction to shave the Egg Beater 2ti Pedals' weight to only 218g per pair, they added a stainless steel spindle for extra strength. You don't want to worry about snapping a pedal when you're ripping down a chundery section of trail. The Egg Beater's four-sided entry and mud-shedding design ensures first-try clips and smooth exits. Once you switch to these Crank Brothers pedals, you'll wonder how you ever did without them.

Highly recommended

I've used some crank bros. Pedal or another for about six or seven years and now it's all I use. These 2ti pedals are really good. Some of the more entry-level models have given me accidental releases, but not these. Not a single incident of popping out. Light, good looking and great power transfer. Def. recommend

Crank Bros crank

The simplicity of these pedals is what I like best. Four places to clip in, super simple design that clears mud no matter what, light and durable. What more could you want?

Is this truly your non-biased review as a rider and not a sponsored enduro MTB racer? I'm sure you love the weight savings and mud clearing ability, seeing some of your solo 24 hour race photos. I'd imagine you've put many miles on the higher end Egg Beater 4ti model (the almost all gold pedal as seen in your photos), but how long do you usually ride/race them for before replacing them? I'd assume a racer of your caliber upgrades to the newest models as they're released if there's no learning curve or other risk involved.

I'm sure you demand utmost reliability, but are you aware of the issues of the more affordable lower end Egg Beaters? I assume this post was added after mine since your name carries more weight than a nobody like me, but when your review title has a major "typo" and you put in one line, I'm not sure if you're trying.

Ride them on a high end road bike!

I ride these pedals, or a different variation of them, on every bike I own including my road bikes. I am hooked on them. This specific pedal I bought, because of it's lightweight design, for my Orbea Orca. I know that this is a mtb specific pedal, but I find that it works quite well for my road bikes, even for racing.
Great power transfer, easy to come in and out of, low profile, lightweight. I have no complaints in this pedal. Highly recommend.

Yep, my wife and I have a total of 8 bikes, all with some CrankBro pedal (mostly egg beaters). All are road bikes; two are TT bikes. Another bike soon to be built up (TT), and it will sport egg beaters. I'm hoping to buy a Pinarello, which deserves some 2 or 4ti egg beaters. Simply put: you can't find a better pedal.
