Great Pedal

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are a huge improvement over the previous 5050 design. I almost didn't buy them because of how bad the old ones were, but sadly in this day and age an $80 pedal is actually relatively cheap so I gave them a shot. I've only used them in the mountains a handful of times since I generally use clipless pedals. The grip and size felt great in the mountains, but I can't comment on longevity. I use them a LOT on my commuter bike however, and love them for that. they are nice and comfy, plenty big enough to have support even if I'm wearing shoes with pretty soft soles which is great. I'd definitely recommend these for riding around town or all mountain/trail riding.
