Description

Craft designed its Winter Neoprene Booties for the days where most opt to ride in the comfort of their homes or neighborhood gym. But, you aren't part of the 'most' category, and Craft knows that training outdoors is never fully replicated indoors. So, for the days when Mother Nature decides to throw some wet and cold your way, know that your feet will stay toasty and dry inside these durable shoe covers from Craft.

The Winter booties were built out of Craft's C438 neoprene. This polyamide material stretches to smoothly wrap over your cycling shoes, providing an insulating layer of protection from both water and tear-inducing winter winds. And for further protection against water seepage, Craft taped the front seams of the booties. Craft also applied KEVLAR-reinforced heel and toe panels for added durability and abrasion resistance.

And while many booties made from neoprene present quite the challenge when it comes to installation and removal, Craft designed its booties to be easily pulled over your shoes and removed via a 3/4 rear zipper. The booties were finished off with hook-and-loop closures at the cuffs and reflective prints throughout.

The Craft Winter Neoprene Booties are available in six sizes from X-Small to XX-Large and in the color Black.

Great for me in a range of conditions

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are very well made and they do a great job at insulating my feet. I wear a size 9.5 US/43 Euro and I bought the size large. They are not too big for me and seem to fit just right over my mountain bike shoes. My feet run cold. So I can wear these in the low forties with a pair of light merino wool (defeet) socks and my feet were very happy. Not clammy at all. They felt like they were in room temperature air. I find it easier to put on the bootie before I put on my shoe. I slide the bootie up my shin. Then I slide back down over my shoe. This is much easier than trying to stretch the bootie over your shoe when it is already on your foot.

Construction is great. I have confidence in these zippers and the other materials are solid where you need them.

What size shoe does the XXL fit? The size chart only goes up to XL, which doesn't look to be an available size.

XXL will fit sizes 48-50

Great booties, very warm

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:Runs small

They are very well made, I tend to destroy my booties since i use them for the road and mountain but these show no signs of fatigue after about 500 miles of abuse. It looks like they may last a few seasons. They are good in light rain, but you will need to add a shopping bag layer if its torrential outside!
