Keep Mother Nature from ruining your ride with the Craft Active Rain Jacket. This training shell blocks wind and precipitation, so you can concentrate on the ride ahead. And it’s perfect for the morning commute as well.
The lightweight polyester fabric is both wind and waterproof to shield you from the elements, while also being breathable. In other words, it allows moisture to escape from within, without letting rain enter. The fully-taped seams further enhance the waterproofness. And selectively-placed hanging mesh aids in temperature regulation—ensuring that the jacket is roomy enough to be comfortable, instead of clinging to your body once you work up a sweat.
The Active jacket’s cut is looser than Craft’s race-specific jackets. This provides both freedom of motion and versatility, at the cost of a slightly less aerodynamic fit, which many riders agree is a worthy trade-off. Vents at the chest and mid-back help you to expel excess heat when you’re working hard. The full-length front zipper is useful if the vents aren’t quite cutting it, especially once the precip stops. A zippered pocket at the small of the back adds valuable storage capacity for your ride essentials. And reflective accents make you more visible to drivers, to keep you safer on the roads.
The Craft Active Rain Jacket is available in five sizes, from Small, to XX-Large, and in the colors Black, Red/platinum, and Yellow/iron.
