Flats happen. When they do, make sure you have a Continental Road Bike Light Tube to replace your tattered rubber. Its lightweight construction won’t add much to your already feather-light machine.

Use new tires

i have used these tubes for years and they work great. Good balance of weight and durability for a good rider that is not racing. i run conti's 4000 tire and if i push over 2500 miles i start getting flats...incredibly predictable. just run good tires and you will be fine.

Don't Believe The Other Reviews - These Are Great Tubes

The Conti Race 700 Light tube is one of the most reliable lightweight tubes available. You can train and race on them with confidence. And this is a great price from Realcyclist.

Avoid these until they improve their quality

I have used these for years and was generally happy with them but this year has been a disaster. One defective valve. Pinched/Punctured three more multiple times each with Kevlar belted tires. I've never had to repair this many flats ever and it was only 1/2 a season. I have previously gone entire seasons (4-6K KM) with the same tube so either I have been very unlucky or Continental has a problem.

        These are bad.

I've gone through three tubes in as many weeks. All three have developed holes around the value and I'm rather disappointed to say the least.
