New fav. tube

Love these tubes, I buy them all the time because I'm too lazy to patch up tubes. However these hold up a lot better then the speacilized tubes I was using before. I feel these keep air in them a lot more I don't have to pump my tires up as much.

How can I tell if I need the 48mm or the 60mm?

It depends on how deep your wheel's rims are. If they are those "Deep V's" or aerodynamic racing rims, you might need the extra length of the 60mm stem length to be able to have enough stem length poking out inside the wheel to pump up your tire.

By way of reference, 60mm valves work comfortably in Zipp 303's, 52mm is about the bottom limit (Dx from ID to outer edge of braking surface ~40mm). For my Velocity rims (Dx ~30mm), the 48mm worked well. Hope this helps.
