great sweater, typical wool issues

The sweater is beautiful to look at, but I'm worried about durability, particularly where the back pockets are sewn. I've had wool jerseys fail before at this seam area, and this doesn't look to have enough reinforcement, especially given the relatively loose weave of the sweater itself. So I won't use the pockets, which limits its use somewhat. But I have worn it and love it. It is perfect with a wicking t-shirt for rides above 60 degrees and excellent as an midlayer when its colder. Again, the only problem for solitary use is that I don't feel I can use the pockets (the other problem with wool garments like this is when the pockets are full, the garment sags way more than synthetics, making stuff bounce around on one's butt while pedaling). Overall, though, I'm very happy with the sweater, especially at half price. Not worth full price to me.
