They ARE smaller than their size

I have several pairs of more expensive Castelli shorts, but the price on the Ergo Tre's on sale made them perfect foul weather shorts. Except that the small size in the Ergo Tre does not match the small size in Castelli's more expensive shorts. The more expensive models are snug on me (6'1" 140lbs) but they fit. I can't even get two legs into the Ergo Tre smalls at the same time. So I have returned the smalls and am awaiting some mediums. Curious, because the size difference between the Ergo Tres and the more expensive models is considerable.

Responded on

Holy smokes! I got the mediums and while I could get them over my thighs, I couldn't get the straps over my shoulders. Actually I couldn't get the strap tops NEAR my shoulders. I even double checked the label to make sure these weren't for women or children or something. Nope. So I returned them and now I am getting some Capos. Oh well. Real Cyclist was excellent about returns. They make it a lot easier when it comes to buying European clothing with unfamiliar (or bizarre) size runs. Thanks to them.
