  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Fit is, as always, perfect. Performance, perfect. Seams: down the front leg, a bit almost scratchy, but overall, not really a problem...just cut differently than other shorts. Chamois: comfortable, & breathable (while Gore's Xenon is a bit more padded and comfy for long rides, this has a better contour). Wait band: comfortable, and stays in place...good height (I don't like a low waist band...but for those who do, you can easily roll it down with no annoyance.

Considering possibly the Red fronted or maybe even the yellow fronted shorts...anyone have these? Are they see-thru? The Blue one's are not...F.Y.I.!!!

I got the Blue (fronted) shorts to match up with the Adua jersey...vibrant and very cool!

How is the sizing on these shorts? I don't own other Assos products. I am a medium in Sugoi, etc.

Responded on

I would say they run true-to-size. Not quite as compressive as Giordana FRC, but every bit the same quality. I never owned any Sugoi, so I can't comment on a fit compare.

If you have tried Gore's Xenon line, it's a similar sizing, but WAY BETTER in fit and quality.

I'm 5'6" and weigh way more than I should!...these are a
XL, but I may have been able to do a L.

I would say go by the chart above...true to size.

IF you decide to try Giordana's FRC will need to size up for sure.
