Neat but BIG for petites
I was intrigued by the saddlebag style and horizontal orientation of the water bladder on this pack. I hated the feeling in my old pack of the vertical water bladder bouncing around on my back whenever I hit a drop or roller.
I love the concept here, and I've used this bag for 2 summers now. My only grief is that the 'one size' really was far too large for me (I'm 5'3 and will definitely go for a women's specific pack when this one needs retiring). I have to ratchet the straps down alllll the way, and could still use more cinching for a perfect fit. I've taken it trail running a few times and it's simply too loose for comfort while running. It's great for biking, but I would need to be able to get it tighter for optimal running performance.
I really like the internal organization in this pack and it's also easy to strap a jacket or rain layer to the outside if the pack is full. I haven't noticed any issues with durability. I would definitely recommend this to folks who aren't petite, it's a very solid pack.
The water pouch IS a bit on the small side for all-day EPIC rides, so I always pop an extra water bottle on my bike for huge rides.
