Not suitable for AM riding
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This saddle is extremely light (160 gm), but seems tough as far as stiffness of the rails and seat pan. While the padding is thin, I haven't had any issues with discomfort. I do wear knickers with a chamois and average about 30 miles of all-mountains riding every week, so maybe my 'taint is just calloused! Haven't crashed it yet, so I can't vouch for the durability of the seat cover material. Slight creaking from the front of the saddle when riding the nose on climbs was cured with some teflon spray - no other issues noted in close to 100 miles of riding so far. This saddle is high-quality and a great deal. Update: After months of use, the carbon fiber rails have started to fail. Swapped out for same saddle with metal rails (240gm)and have had good durability with it 1+ year of use.
