"Can't stand the heat?"...

  • Gender: Female

While it's way too cold here at the time of this posting (it's still snowing in my area!); I can say this thing has to be comfortable for HOT summers...the whole thing seems to be made of "netting"! Sure wish I had this for past summer seasons rides. It's so thin, I wonder how durable it will be...will keep posted if any problems arise. A note on fit: seems to run true-to-size, I order a XXL for a 40" chest size in tops and there is plenty of room, wonder if a size down would have been better, but the color/size/price was right in-line, so no big deal. Have also got the new ALP-
X 3.0 from Gore (red), and the only difference I can see is the design of abrasion patches on the shoulders. So at half price, stock up!

UP-DATE: Used on a long, hot ride and this shirt was wonderfully "cool"; especially love the mesh venting allowing a "cool" breeze at arm pits, and back (even wearing a full pack). One word on durability: the mesh back panel already snagged from the pack; the price you pay for a little breeze, I guess. Comfortable shirt for everyday rides and everyday bods, too!
