Competitive Cyclist Team Panther Bib Shorts $0.00
In the jungle, they say you only know that you've been stalked by a panther once its claws are on your throat. The same mythology surrounds the select few of Team Panther. Crushing the national competition's spirit on race day is all in a day's work for these lads. We like to think that their success is due in part to the Team Panther Bib Shorts, but it probably just comes down to being tougher than us.
The Team Panther Bib Shorts were carefully selected to provide consistent quality for our boys racing on the road. Printed on the Giordana Alta Gamma, the Team Panther bib shorts use a 240g high-compression Endurance Lycra. The compression system uses a wrap pattern that compresses the inner leg to assist in the reduction of fatigue. Above all, the Team Panther Bib Shorts are comfortable. They use micro mesh uppers, flatlock stitching, and Giordana's top-tier Cirro O.F. Chamois—which Giordana touts as the most advanced in the industry. We don't deal in absolutes, but we can say that it's the first chamois we've heard of with Aloe Vera particles directly infused into the threads of the microfiber. Aloe is not only a natural bacteria fighter, but its implementation in the fiber provides a cooling effect that protects and heals during activity. Below the skin layer, the Cirro has a 4mm-thick pad of waffled-texture expanding memory foam. The texture aids in ventilation by moving moisture to the perimeter of the chamois where accelerated evaporation can occur. The final layer of the chamois is a thick section of hand-sewn open cell padding with recessed channels for pressure relief. These technologies amount to a chamois that won't get wet and nasty 100 miles into a ride, let alone 20.
The Team Panther Bib Shorts are available in sizes Small through XX-Large.

I never owned a proper pair of cycling shorts. Then I saw a pic of me during a MTB race my baggy shorts were down around my butt with underpants and cheeks hanging out for all the world to see. I figured I better buy some bibs. Oh my god what a difference they make when riding, I wear them under my baggies with confidence and the padding is great. I'm a big guy (6'4" and pushing 300 lbs) the XXL fit me great.
Fit, quality excellent

I was originally expecting to write a review just like magp416423's ("Very slick"), but he beat me to the punch and stole most of what I was going to say.
I'm 5'6", 125 lbs and the small fit great. The silicone grippers at the leg openings didn't feel intrusive and held the legs in place rather well.
The reason I give this four stars is the presence of the large "PANTHER" across the lower back of the bib -- it's typically covered up but it still is a little bold (and odd, in my opinion). As a bib and not a fashion statement, there seems to be little to complain about.
Ignore the two books below the bib... just picked them up and was laughing my way through them!

These are a very slick pair of bibs - look great and are really comfortable all round! They appear to be well made (in Italy) from good quality materials. The chamois is well placed and not too bulky, but definitely substantial enough. The fit and proportioning are really good. I am 6'-1"/160 lbs/32" waist - according to the sizing chart I am a large and the large is perfect for me. (I would suggest that if you like a tighter fit and are under 6', then maybe a medium might be more appropriate.) Overall: a nice pair of bibs at an excellent price!
