With the Club Ride Apparel Link Base Layer, you can rest assured that your first layer doesn't break the warmth chain. This is also one of the few pieces of cycling kit from Club Ride that actually resembles similar offerings from the European manufacturers. It has similar construction and function, too, but without the made-in-Europe premium price.

For insulation purposes, we've come to love hollow-core yarn. Just seeing those words on a list of tech specs summons thoughts of warm bodies while rolling through winter base miles. That's because it creates countless micro pockets of trapped air to act as insulation — basically the same principle that makes merino wool such a quality insulator. We're happy to report that the Link is made from ThermaTrans, a hollow core material. We're also happy to note that hollow core yarns effectively increase the material's wicking properties, so you'll stay dry as well as warm. You'll also stay visible, as RideLight reflective accents are incorporated to help you be seen in low-light visibility.
