It's a rare item that can navigate the gap between hanging out and working out, but Club Ride has perfected the art of multi-application clothing with the Joy Ride Knickers. With their blend of contemporary styling and athletic functionality, the Joy Rides transition effortlessly from on the bike to out on the town.
Club Ride uses its PowerWeave fabric for these puppies, a nylon blend with an accommodating two-way stretch that wicks well, dries quickly, and doesn't require a lot of coddling. The knickers resist abrasions, so their long length keeps your knees and thighs protected from singletrack obstacles or the occasional tumble on the road.
Club Ride claims these knickers have a Sport Fit. We find that this translates into snug legs that don't flap across the length of their 16.5 inch inseams, a fit that won't hinder you on or off the bike. They rise slightly in the rear to cover your, well, rear, which the waist adjustment straps also help with. The gusseted crotch increases freedom of movement and durability, and eliminates seams in the area, an effect that speaks for itself. The back of the knees are also cut to allow freedom of movement through the pedaling motion. Reflective elements help keep you visible in low-light conditions during early commutes or late returns.
The Club Ride Joy Ride Knickers - Women's are available in fives sizes ranging from X-Small to X-Large in the colors Caravan and Raven.
