Quick-rolling and aggressive.

Designed for cross country racing on technical courses, the Clements FRJ 120TPI 29in Tire offers a smooth, supple feel with low rolling resistance and plenty of traction for cornering and climbing. This particular version features a 120 TPI casing, making it lighter and more supple than Clement's similar FRJ 60 TPI Tire. Ultimately, this means it's best suited for racing where speed is of utmost concern. The high-volume casing and soft rubber compound engage on everything from hardpack to loamy singletrack. Kevlar bead-to-bead protection adds peace of mind when you're tackling the course's roughest sections.

  • Race-specific cross country tire
  • Wide-spaced knobs roll fast and corner aggressively
  • Soft rubber for maximum grip and shock absorption
  • Kevlar protection prevents punctures on rocky terrain
  • Clement is world renowned for its premier race tires

Get what you pay for

For the price you cannot beat them, but definitely not a true race tire like Maxxis or Continental. I currently have them set up as tubeless on a set of Stans CREST rims. First ride i got a sidewall tear, not sure if the sidewalls are weak or i unfortunately hit a very sharp rock, patched and several rides later no issues. The first few rides the tire did not grip very well, seemed like a slick tire, but after a few rides it seems to grip pretty well. I currently run them at around 23-25 psi and weigh 190lbs.
