Rustic Cardiel O.R.P. Backpack

We're not sure exactly what operations Chrome's Rustic Cardiel O.R.P is ready for, but if it involves a bike or skateboard, this pack is probably into it. Chrome teamed up with skate pioneer John Cardiel to create the O.R.P., which takes cues from classic outdoor packs but has a style all its own.

All told, the O.R.P. weighs under pound, which can be credited primarily to the ultralight nylon diamond ripstop fabric. While it's light, this roll-top bag is exceedingly tough, and has been finished with taped seams and treated with a PU coating to resist water. That's pretty key, since the internal slash pocket is designed to hold a padded 13in laptop sleeve. At the bottom, a synthetic PU suede patch provides extra abrasion resistance, while the shoulder strap's metal camlock adjuster and a supportive sternum strap let you fine-tune the fit depending on your load. The O.R.P. is crafted with Chrome's trademark attention to detail, visible in things like the Cardiel X Chrome side patch.
