Beats being stuck behind the wheel.

Heading out into nasty weather with your $2000 laptop on your back can be frightening experience. Mother Nature doesn't care what you paid for your computer any more than she cares about the sandwich you have in your pack, and she's happy to destroy either one without a second thought. There are three things you can do. A) Move to the desert. B) Drive a car. C) Get a pack that you can count on in foul weather. Since the first two choices are completely ridiculous, consider the Chrome Bravo Laptop Bag a viable way to choose C.

The Bravo's super-tough 1000D Cordura construction will stand up to just about any conventional urban warfare. Inside, an 1800D military-grade truck tarpaulin liner holds off anything Mother Nature can throw at you, so your laptop and tuna-on-toast arrive at your destination equally crisp and fresh. If you wind up needing to carry more than the 20L Bravo normally carries, it expands to double its size. That's an additional 20L of interior storage. A padded back panel softens things up a bit and a sternum strap with chrome's iconic seatbelt quick-release distributes the load more efficiently for added comfort and stability.

The Chrome Bravo Bag is 13.75in wide, 20.25in high, and 5.5in deep. It is available in one size and comes in black.

  • 1000D Cordura shell
  • 1800 truck tarpaulin lining
  • 15in laptop sleeve
  • One back pocket
  • Compression straps
  • Padded back panel
  • Sternum strap

Durable Bag, looks good.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I like the small features of this bag perfectly well but all in all I like the simplicity of the bag. It's durable and black and works great. Laptop is totally safe in there and that's awesome for me.

Sold with style

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Got this bag for bike commuting and to use as my daily bag for work. Great bag. The expandable option has come in pretty clutch on more than a few occasions. No issues with riding in the rain, done it too many times, the bag is waterproof (or weather proof as Chrome defines it). My only beef with it if any is depending you much I have the roll top extended, the bag sometimes hits my helmet. Love it anyway. It's the only bag I've had where someone has commented on it, more than once too. Now I'm looking a their other bags...

Smaller than I thought

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The bag was seemed bigger than I expected (in terms of looks) but the space inside was smaller than it looked. Pretty cool. Hugs the body well

Love this bag

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I was looking for a bag that was waterproof, comfortable, can expand to relatively high-capacity and a bit more organized than a cavernous dry bag. This thing delivered! The construction is bomb-proof and the bag does a good job of holding my laptop in the outer sleeve. The downsides are relatively minor: the bag itself is definitely on the heavy side but in my opinion the comfort makes up for that, the laptop pocket padding could definitely be beefier, and there's no dedicated loop to clip on a blinkey (the cross straps do an ok job).
