British-based Charge Bikes builds on its tradition of designing purposeful commuting bikes that get you from one place to the next, without a fuss. The Plug 4 does that and much more, as this model within the Plug line gets dressed up with a few extras — such as disc brakes and a carbon fork — giving you the ideal platform for both an everyday commuter and epic adventurer.

Designed with Charge's "All-Road" geometry and the tried-and- proven material of choice, 6061-series butted aluminum, the Plug range provides the versatility and durability necessary to take on the pavement, gravel, and dirt roads you’re likely to encounter out in the wild. The Plug is characterized by its burly wheels, rack and fender compatibility, and solid component selection, which really just means it's ready for you to throw a leg over it and get after it. The neutral geometry keeps you comfortable as the miles stack up, and its carbon fork and large-volume tires add up to cush rolling and long-haul durability.

The Plug 4 receives Shimano's 105 11-speed group, complete with a compact 50/34t RS500 Hollowtech II crankset and an 11-32t cassette out back. Render R mechanical disc brakes handle stopping duties, with Maxxis' custom skinwall Roamers providing big doses of comfort, traction, and that all-important touch of retro goodness.
