Similar to Charge's Plug range of urban navigating machines, the Grater uses the proven standby material in its frame construction: 6061 butted aluminum. Custom dropouts with rack and fender mounts add to the frame's versatility, allowing you to ride year-round and pack extra gear for the journeys ahead. Charge mated the durable aluminum main frame with an alloy fork and flat handlebar for optimal comfort and precise handling.

For the build, Charge outfitted the Grater 2 with a proven 2x9 drivetrain from Shimano — with a 50/34t compact crankset — to give you all the gearing options you'll need for your commute. Pro Max hydraulic disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power, and Continental's durable City Ride II tires keep you rolling smoothly over a variety of road surfaces. Charge's in-house saddle, matching stem, and cockpit components round out the bike, along with a front and rear fender package.
