Your little ripper has been shredding with their old mountain bike through just about all of the snow, sand, dirt, mud, and rock that they can find, and it's starting to show on their frame. If riding a bike means tracking down the gnarliest terrain and taking the hard way whenever possible, Charge Bikes' Cooker 24in Kids' Fat Bike may be one of the few bikes that can keep up, and it's also a great way for your young rider to show off on rides with their hard-charging mom or dad.
The Cooker is made with a steel frame that's durable enough to carry your youngster through just about anything while handling a spill or two along the way. Paired with a steel fork and flat handlebars with grips, the bike lends itself to easy control for little hands improving their fine motor skills. As they pedal along hilly bike paths and snow-blanketed landscapes, the seven-speed Shimano drivetrain with grip shifts will ease them into the world of shifting and multiple gear ratios, allowing them to build confidence on more diverse terrain with a mix of componentry that they can count on to work when they need it to.
The Cooker's defining feature may of course be its enormous 24 x 4in tires, which take it from a standard kids' bike to a terrain-devouring fat bike machine. Its mechanical disc brakes and burly, 160mm rotors mean that virtually nothing will impede your speed demon's stopping power on slick, wet trails, and they'll offer much more dependability than the caliper brakes included on youth bikes designed for tamer pursuits.
