Fight the battle against summer heat in Italian style with the Castelli Velocissimo Bib Shorts. Featuring the Kiss3 chamois and cool mesh bib straps, the Velocissimo fights off heat and fatigue in the blazing sun, so you can ride longer, faster.

Castelli Velocissimo Bib shorts are made from Castelli's popular Affinity Lycra 210g fabric. Affinity Lycra 210g fabric gives you the benefit of having a lightweight, stretchy bib tight that breathes well and wicks moisture away from your skin. The Velocissimo Team Bib short also adds the comfort of the Kiss3 premium chamois pad. The Kiss3 chamois uses a seamless construction of brushed microfiber to avoid any chaffing, and the pad is anatomically shaped to help follow your movements. The Kiss3 also features a variable density design with more padding where you need it and less where you don't.

Velocissimo bib shorts also feature Castelli's Giro 3 leg band elastic that grips your thighs without the unpleasant binding feeling that some grippers give you. Ultra-breathable mesh bib straps keep the shorts exactly where you want them while allowing cooling air to flow through. Castelli also included reflective bands at the legs to make you more visible to traffic at night.

The Castelli Velocissimo Bib Tights are available in six sizes from Small to XXX-Large, and in the colors White/anthracite/black, Navy Blue/white, and Black/yellow fluorescent.

Here's what others have to say...

ok bibs

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

i got a pair of these bibs earlier this year and they are ok. i think for the price point there are better options in bibs. They run extremely small and the chamois is not very comfortable on longer rides.

Chamois is too thin in delicate areas..

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Castelly quality and designs always the best ...For me the chamois is just too thin toward the front end and does not offer enough protection in delicate areas ...The rear end in the sit bones area is much better ..

the kiss chamois is the worst chamois

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I have been riding about 20 yrs at about 100 per week.the chamois is without question the worst chamois that I have ever used. I am not shure where they got the name, however it chaffed me badly, worst kiss I ever had

Comfort & Function

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I used to ride with shorts and a jersey separate but hated how the shirt would ride up or the shorts band would slip down. Since getting a pair of these bibs my comfort has increased greatly! No more worrying about your clothing while you ride, these comfortable bibs allow you to focus on what matters. The padding is in all the right places adding even more comfort.

For those of you who are particular about the length of your shorts, this is how a medium fits on a 69" frame. The shorts are worn with the matching jersey.

Great shorts

Before these, all my cycling shorts were entry level. After these, I became a loyal buyer of Castelli gear and would not consider going back to the cheap stuff.

Fit and appearance: These shorts, like all Castelli products, tends to run small. I have a 29" waist and the mediums fit perfectly. These are designed to go with the Velocissimo jerseys, but you can probably mix and match with a fair number of the other lines. Anyway, slightly mismatched stuff is supposed to look "Pro," right? Some of the Castelli bib shorts don't sport a very durable logo, but the logos on these are very solid and look like they'll not wash or wear away. The design's interesting, and the red gripper on the one leg is pretty cool too.

Functionality: I've repeatedly worn these shorts on long (60+ mile) rides and feel absurdly comfortable. The gripper keeps the shorts where they're supposed to be. The KISS3 padding is wonderful for the sit bones and it's not even Castelli's best. Moisture just vanishes out of the shorts. It can be hot out, but I don't feel like I'm baking underneath. No regrets buying these whatsoever.
