Castelli S. Tre. 1 Gloves $39.95
Control the road.
Castelli designed its new S. Tre. 1 Gloves for the rider who prefers a minimal design, but still demands the cushioning, support, and solid grip necessary for day-long endeavors in the saddle.
Castelli constructed the S. Tre. 1's palms from a synthetic leather with a thin foam insert padding. This combination breathes extremely well and provides just the right amount of cushioning for choppy roads. The result is a palm material that allows you to adequately feel the road through the bars, while keeping your hands cool and dry. Silicone printed logos across the palm inserts provide texture for added grip, and microsuede panels along the backs of the thumbs allow you to comfortably remove sweat from your face.
The back panels utilize lightweight printed Lycra, which stretches to conform to your hands and aids in the transferring of moisture from your skin. Hook-and-loop closures at the wrists keep the gloves securely fastened, and easy-off central pull tabs let you remove them with ease.
The Castelli S. Tre. 1 Gloves are available in six sizes from X-Small to XX-Large and in the colors Black/white, Black/yellow fluo, Red/white, White, and White/ocean.

I wore these on two rides nothing crazy ling but enough to test them . I did not size up like i normally do for Castelli. the gloves feel great they are secure and padding is sufficient. i look forward to seeing durability over a season.

I'm wondering about sizing here... I typically wear XL or XXL in winter gloves, but according to this sizing (my middle finger to base of palm is 9") I"m barely a LRG. Is this correct? (This IS my first pair of biking gloves, so maybe I'm just a noob.) Thanks!
Well, the LRG fits me despite my wide hands. Trust the sizing guide. One note on these though, the padding in the palms is light, and I think I need something beefier.

I was initially shocked at how tight these gloves seemed to fit, and wondered if I was sent the wrong size (I ordered Large). They feel small when putting them on and taking them off -BUT - once they are on the fit is, at least for me, absolutely perfect. The padding is not excessive, but is a great balance between grip/feel and protection. These gloves 'disappear' on long rides. These are my go-to gloves, a great all-rounder that I'd highly recommend.
