Castelli Tenerissimo 2 Women's Tights $109.95
The Tenerissimo won't stop you from riding in the cold
As summer fades into fall, arm and knee warmers begin to make an appearance on your rides. Fingered gloves quickly become a standard, and suddenly, you need more protection for your legs than what your knee warmers can offer. Don't retreat to your trainer for the winter, get your legs into a pair of Castelli Tenerissimo 2 Women's Tights. Perfect for chilly temperatures and mild winters, these tights will keep you out on the road and enjoying the ride.
The Tenerissimo tights are cut into an anatomic, cycling-specific fit. At the waist, they feature a soft, tall Thermoflex band that feels more like your favorite yoga pants than a typical elastic waistband. The tights are cut from panels of warm Thermoflex. Lightweight and stretchy, Thermoflex has the same stretch as your summer riding shorts, just with the addition of an insulating, brushed-fleece lining. In addition to warmth, Thermoflex also offers mild wind protection to protect you from chills on the descent.
Warmth in tights is paramount, but Castelli knows that you aren't going to wear them if the chamois isn't comfortable. Rounding out the Tenerissimo 2 Tights, a Kiss 3 insert features a seamless, brushed microfiber top with a bacteriostatic treatment to help you avoid saddle sores and abrasion. The dual-density and variable thickness of the mid-layer puts support where you need it the most, in the perineal area, then tapers down towards the front of the chamois. The anatomically shaped women's Kiss 3 will keep you comfortable for miles in the saddle.
Camlock ankle zippers seal out cool air and allow for quick ventilation. Reflective accents on the zippers add visibility in low-light conditions, while silicone leg grippers at the hem keep the legs in place throughout movement.
The Castelli Tenerissimo 2 Women's Tights are available in five sizes from X-Small to X-Large and in the colors Black/cherry, Black/pink, and Black/white.

What community has to say
Cozy and warm
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I live in Vancouver and riding in winter means a biting damp cold and often rain. I've only been out in these once, however it was 3 degrees Celcius and I rode for 3.5 hours in mixed light rain and wind. They were warm and very comfortable. I read a review on another site regarding the unusually large pad and I know what the other reviewer means , but you only notice when you're not on the bike and I didn't find it a big deal I got used to it quickly. These tights are super comfy on the bike I love the fleece lining and I wouldn't change a thing. I'm 5'3" and 125 pounds and a medium fits nicely so it fits true to the size chart. Would definitely recommend.
