You might have witnessed Wiggo riding in various iterations of Kask helmets on the way to podium in Paris. If so, you probably ran out immediately and bought a Kask helmet for obvious reasons. Oh, the power of professional sport. However, flipping the script, if Sir Bradley saw you ride by in a pair of the Castelli Kask Team 9cm Socks, he might very well perform the same form of idol worship. As a testament to both parties' quality, Castelli printed the Kask Team socks on its Rossa Corsa design. These are woven with Meryl Skinlife antibacterial fibers, and accordingly, the moisture management properties are astounding. Basically, save a rainstorm, your feet will stay dry as the light and airy fabric pulls sweat away to the quick-drying surface.

The top of the foot is a diaphanous web -- ultra-thin and extremely breathable. In the middle of the foot, the arch area, there is a high-density band woven in. You won't notice any difference in the thickness, but you'll feel like the sock is becoming one with your foot, rather than sliding around between your foot and the shoe. The toe has a flat seam for comfort, and the 9cm cuff at the top is folded over to keep the sock from slipping.
