Cycling-specific support.

Cycling demands gear that's made for cycling, not designed for runners, hikers, swimmers, or trapeze artists. There are countless shorts, tights, and bibs out there, so it's about time bike-specific sports bras, like the Castelli Rosso Corsa Light Bra, became a common kit feature.

Castelli's developed the Rosso Corsa in conjunction with pro racers, so it has the same real-world design expertise as your favorite bibs or jersey. Its focus is moderate support, to cope with the lower-impact demands of cycling, and breathability, to help fight off the sweat-on-the-way-up, freeze-on-the-way-down conundrum that can be the bane of your alpine rides. Firmly stretchy but not constrictive fabric provides comfortable support without allowing moisture to accumulate, and Tulle mesh inserts at the side, back, and front provide increased cooling and breathability. The straps are made from Giro2, the same soft, stretchy, and seamless material used in Castelli's top-shelf bibs, and the crossback strap design allows free shoulder movement so your upper body stays fresher and more comfortable on long rides.

  • Seamless Giro2 cross straps
  • Tulle mesh side inserts
  • Moderate support
  • Ideal for A/B cups

Runs small; returned

Wife really wanted to like this bra...straps...fabric...weight...all was perfect. She is a 34B & ordered a Medium, straps, bottom band all fit perfect. The problem was that the "cups" were so confining she felt she was in a corset from the 1700's that for the first time in her adult life produced cleavage.

Most comfortable bra I ride with

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: small

Amazingly comfortable. Wore for a 180 mile 2 day ride. I range (depending on brand) from a 32-34D. I got a small based on the band size. Was a little tight but I assume it will stretch over time. Not uncomfortable tight - just left a band mark. The ladies stay tucked in okay and it works more like a compression bra in the front that I like for cycling. I am ordering 2 more and one is going to be a medium just to see the difference with the cup size.

Best cycling bra ever

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

The wide, thin, soft bands are the best. No more jogging bras! This thing is so comfortable that I'll use it as a regular bra in summer.

Comfortable Bra

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

I am usually 36B so I bought a Medium and it fits perfect, it is very comfortable so you can forget that you are wearing it even after riding more than 5 hours.
The downside is that It does not have pads.

Really Comfortable

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

My chest measures 33" and I ordered a size small. It's a bit hard to get on but very comfortable once in place. I'm probably between a small and medium so if I get another one, I may try to size up one.

I would not, the Medium is too big for me wish I had a small :)

Thanks for the "heads up" HippieFairy. I'll stick with the small.

Are there any cyclists out there wearing...

Are there any cyclists out there wearing this w/ a C cup? If so, were you adequately supported and covered?

Best Answer

I'm a 32D and I bought both a Small and Medium. I ended up returning the M as it felt too loose in the band, and did not offer enough support while riding, especially when going over bumpy road. The Small fits perfect for me.

Seems comfy, but doesn't small A-cup

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I ordered a small. It looks like it would be a really nice product, but I am a smaller A-cup and it is a little loose in the cups area. If you're a larger A-cup or above, you'll be fine.

I wear mine every ride

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm ordering a second one of these. It is so comfy. The flat straps over the shoulders practically disappear, and the chest band is not tight. (I leave that to the heart monitor band!) There is not a lot of support, but enough to keep things in place when going in for that cup of coffee. When riding, how much support do you really need, anyway?

As to size, I'm between a small and a medium, I think. I went with the medium because I wanted to maximize comfort. Maybe if I had gotten a small, it would feel tighter and more supportive. But, I'm sticking with Medium in the order I'm placing now.

Love it!

Sizes

According to the sizing chart on the site, I should be S or M. I ordered one of each size and both were small.
So I'll ask now an L, because it seems an excellent product and I want to try.
I think the sizing chart needs to be revised.

Did the 'L' ever work out?

I wanted to get one of these as well, but according to the chart, I would need a XL, they might not work for me if they're running that small...

    Awesome Bra! :)

I put this bra on and felt like I wasn't even wearing a bra...it is seriously that comfortable. Riding with this bra on was completely wonderful. I felt no weight in my chest and no tension in my shoulders from the straps. I didn't even really feel the straps at all. We're given so many reasons why we have certain pains but I've never had anyone suggest wearing the wrong bra while cycling was causing me to have some pain around my neck and shoulders. After wearing this just once I can tell that my bra was the reason to the problems and this bra was perfect the solution. I'm a 32 B and the small fits perfectly for me. I just wish I had lots more money so I could buy more.

Thanks for the specific detail on your size and the fit for you. Your review sold me so I can feel confident in my purchase now!

Very comfortable straps and fabric. I am ordering another one. Seems true to size. I bought the small and it's a little tight getting on but really comfortable once on.
