The zipper ruined this jersey

I had good experiences with my old Castelli gear, but I was a little nervous about choosing the right size after reading so many reviews regarding Castelli's current sizing issues. I ordered a large based on Castelli's chart and the fit felt like it was the correct choice. I am built like a climber and it was definitely a "race" fit with just the slightest bit of extra space in the lower portion of the jersey. Unfortunately, I had to return the item before using it as I encountered a strange issue with the zipper. The act of zipping and unzipping the jersey was fine. However, the plastic/fabric strips the zipper teeth are attached to and then sewn to the jersey opening are extremely stiff. So much so that when the jersey is zipped and you're in any position besides standing perfectly straight, the zipper creates large bulges wherever it has to bend to conform to your position. It totally ruined the fit, look, and finish of an otherwise nice jersey.
