Castelli Podium Collection Agnel Bib Short - Men's $0.00
Summer in the Alps is a magical time. Bright sunny days, reasonable temperatures, and hallowed roads add up to the vacation of a lifetime for any cycling fan. But even the most ideal vacation can turn sour if you're not properly prepared, and there's nothing worse than taking a vacation to ride beautiful, historical roads to end up developing saddle sores halfway through the week. Pack the Castelli Agnel Bib Shorts and travel easy, knowing you've made a positive choice in the battle against untimely chafing.
The limited edition Agnel Bib Shorts utilize some of Castelli's time-tested technologies, including a KISS3 chamois and Action Micro fabric, to produce bibs that are lightweight yet durable and comfortable yet stylish. The Action Micro is used through the legs of the shorts to wick moisture away from your skin while you're riding. Breathe Lycra is used in the bib straps, and is a mesh fabric designed to move moisture rapidly away from your skin without compromising any breathability.
The KISS3 chamois is one of Castelli's longest-running models, and with good reason. It has an extremely low profile while still providing the support and comfort necessary on long rides. It has multiple densities of foam padding, with the highest-density foam placed right under your sit bones. In short, it'll keep you comfortable without making you feel like you're wearing a diaper.
The Castelli Agnel Bib Shorts are Black and come in six sizes from Small to XXX-Large.
Note: Castelli has a "Euro" slimmer fit. We suggest ordering at least one size larger than your normal US size.

What's the difference between the Agnel and the Duran?
I have both bibs and I wear them a lot. No difference whatsoever except color schemes.
Great design and fit
This is my third pair of Castelli bibs. I took a chance on a size Large, even though with Castelli I sometimes need an XL. I'm 6' 180lb, and a bit longer in the torso than in the legs. The Agnels are a perfect fit, including the leg length. (I recently bought a pair of Castelli Neros, and find them shorter in the leg than I prefer.) The Large are a tight fit, but I like that. They're definitely designed for hot weather, with narrower bib straps and a lower cut waist. On the bike they're insanely comfortable, and the Kiss3 chamois is perfect for me, less bulky than some competing brands. These will be my go-to shorts through the summer.
I am 5.11, 172 and after some hesitation I chose to buy this bib in large. Happy I did! A little too snug new, after the first 50-mile ride it turned very comfortable with just enough compression. I would add an inch or so to the bib straps but as one reviewer said they're probably going to stretch a little over time anyway ;-). I found the chamois to be relatively small but fully effective - no chaffing at all after 70-miler.
In my view, the bib is definitely better than Giordana Silverline or LG Elite - it performs better, feels better, and actually looks better.
Among other talents Castelli's designers have a good taste in logos' fonts. Although Agnel bib has logos on both sides they don't look ostentatious due to the minimalistic fonts. Actually, the same is true with all Podium Collection.
Along with the bib I purchased white Agnel LS jersey and the kit looks fantastic!
I really don't understand how come Agnel bibs and LS jerseys are still available on Realcyclist in practically all sizes! On March 31! Go get'em guys! You won't regret!

Isn't it possible to have another pair of gift socks in size L/XL?
Unfortunately it's first come first serve with those and that is a popular size.
This bib is great for training indoor , not too much back coverage and still a bib , I am enjoying each of my rides, it's really a hybrid design in between a short and a bib , it works for me
Bib it, Bib it good..
Not a bad bib for the price. Sizing is a bit "racey" but I'm 5'11 155lbs and fit into the medium. I do like em' tight and they er usually stretch a bit over time. :) Thin material so probably won't last more than a full season of hammering though. I'll be craving strange then anyway. Steal for the sale price.
Originally bought a size medium based on the sizing chart on Bonktown and sized up based on on the Euro sizing comments. My initial worry was they would be too big...WAY TOO SMALL. Exchanged for a large and it's wearable but certainly not comfortable, especially in the lengh of the bib straps. I'm barely 5'10" and a little more bulky in the chest & shoulders than your average roadie. I couldn't wait to get these off my shoulders after a short 30 miler. I've talked with some other buyers of Castelli Podium Collection bibs and jerseys. Based on their feedback and the various reviews posted on similar products I'd suggest the sizing is inconsistent at best, at worst just way off. While the exhange process was pretty seamless, it's frustrating not knowing how these items will fit regardless of the stated size and sizing chart. The overall quality seems decent and I like the minimalist feel of the material. I'm just skeptical as to the quality control going into these Castelli high-end products that are coming out of El Salvador.
