It's not quite cold enough for pants, but your knees will suffer if you go for a ride in shorts. Reach for the Castelli Palmares Due Knicker for the perfect compromise in Spring and Fall. The Palmares Due is a single-layer Lycra knicker that allows your legs to breathe, and regulates temperature without insulation. Castelli's KISS3 Donna women-specifc chamois manages moisture and road vibration to provide comfort and reduce fatigue, and a slightly longer-than-average cut covers your knees and upper shins while allowing cooling air to flow over your less-sensitive lower shin and ankle areas.
Castelli's Palmares Due Knicker is made from Castelli's popular Softflex RS fabric. Softflex RS gives you the benefit of having lightweight, stretchy knickers with a super-soft, cottony feel. The Soft Touch waistband minimizes irritation and drops lower in the front for added comfort in the riding position. The higher back prevents your skin from being exposed.
Castelli added the Kiss3 Donna chamois for shock and vibration cushioning, as well as efficient moisture management. The chamois uses a seamless construction of brushed microfiber to mitigate any chafing, and the pad is anatomically shaped to move with you as you ride. The Kiss3 Donna chamois also features a variable density design with more padding where you need it and less where you don't.
The Castelli Palmares Due Knicker is available in sizes from X-Small to X-Large, and in the color Black.
