Castelli Gisele Women's Jersey $99.95
From the runway to the saddle.
You consider yourself to be fashion-forward in your everyday life, so why should you look plain-Jane on the bike? Castelli asked itself this question, and as a result, the Gisele Women's Jersey was born.
This jersey has been constructed from Castelli's Softlex fabric for its comfort, stretch, and moisture management properties. And while it's composition is not one of organic fiber, the material has been engineered to retain a cottony feel and aesthetic. More importantly, though, Softlex performs the aforementioned duties with vigor. Accordingly, it feels incredible on the skin without a base layer, and of equal merit, it efficiently transports moisture from the skin to the quick-drying surface of the jersey.
In terms of stretch, you'll find that Softlex's natural elasticity provides complete freedom of movement. Furthermore, this attribute has been intensified through Castelli's hallmark fit. Essentially, this jersey has been designed on an anatomic curve that not only takes the female body into account, but the female body within the cycling position. As a result, the jersey follows your movements in the saddle, almost predicting them. This way, abrasion is minimized, and the jersey's structure becomes exceptionally flattering to the figure. Additionally, Castelli designed the Gisele with capped sleeves and a low-profile, nearly crew neck in order to reinvent the look and feel of cycling jerseys. You'll also find this principle further supported through the incorporation of a 1/4 length front zipper.
To house your ride essentials, Castelli has included three ample sized rear pockets. And to increase your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions, the jersey features reflective accents throughout.
The Castelli Gisele Women's Jersey is available in five sizes from X-Small to X-Large and in the colors Blue Navy/white/wisteria/cyclamen, White/coral/wisteria/anthracite, and White/yellow fluo/pink.

What community has to say
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I love the design of this jersey but the white is a little too translucent for my liking. I'll be returning mine for the dark blue version. The small is snug on me but fits (I wear an XS in street clothes - I find cycling clothes are always pretty snug).
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I usually prefer full-zip jerseys, but this one is great for indoor cycling classes or short high-intensity rides on the road. Keeps me cool (and looking stylish). Sizing is 'european'?took an XL to fit my 36D bust, but rest of jersey fits well for my 5'4" stature (in other words, it's not ridiculously long, and doesn't have that weird, overly deep armhole thing going on that many manufacturers use to accommodate larger bust sizes instead of employing darts or shaping). Fits across my wide shoulders too.
