Valuable.

Looking to its pro-level pieces for inspiration, Castelli created its Entrata 2 Jersey as a hardworking, everyday addition to your wardrobe with a versatile aesthetic that promises to remain relevant in subsequent seasons. By not overloading the Entrata 2 with a host of pricy, hyper-specialized details, Castelli managed to add an affordable jersey to its line that straddles everything from training rides to centuries and even race day.

Castelli's Prosecco 3D fabric makes up the main body of the jersey. Prosecco 3D manages to remain both extremely breathable as well as resistant to moisture due to its 3D structure, which creates space between the fabric and your skin while increasing the material's effective surface area. This allows for improved airflow and rapid moisture transfer away from the skin as you sweat. With this construction, you'll avoid dealing with damp, clingy fabric in humid conditions, and with the Prosecco hydrophilic treatment, rain and water will spread over a wider area of the jersey, eliminating heavily concentrated areas and encouraging the water to evaporate more quickly.

Enhancing the functionality of Prosecco 3D, Castelli designed the Entrata 2 with mesh side panels and stretch panels at the shoulders and arm openings to improve the fit of the jersey as you move around in the saddle. The Entrata also notably features raw-cut arm bands for added flexibility and less likelihood of chafing. We're seeing raw-cut hemlines appearing throughout a host of cycling apparel, but in many case only in top-tier, $200 jerseys, so we applaud their inclusion on the more affordable Entrata 2. As final touches, the Entrata 2 is treated with a full-length zipper, reflective trim for added visibility, and the standard three rear pockets for storing your ride essentials.

  • Three rear pockets
  • Full-length front zipper
  • Reflective trim at hem
  • Mesh side panels and shoulder stretch zones

Not as small as other Castelli jerseys

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

This ligthweight jersey made in El Salvador runs not as

Yes, I agree. I own a lot of Castelli gear. This is a great jersery. And it does not run quite as small as most Castelli tops (especially the racy Rosso Corsa tops). Order your normal street size. Order up if you are on the fence size wise.

Favorite summer jersey

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Castelli fit works well for me and this one has a preferred style. Pockets are where they should be. Purchased red, black and blue models.

Hey, this jersey is shown in your Facebook side panel ad as $59.96 but on the actual website it's $79.95. Thought I would try one but not when the price is higher than advertised!

Love how it looks

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

I bought this jersey hoping that I was able to find one that fits me well. Typically I got jerseys that the sleeves fits well with my arms, but they were too small in the chest. Or the opposite, they fit me well but the sleeves were too big, and this one did the job.

I just use it this weekend, and I think it looks great. My ride has like 3 different weather stations and for hot and cold weather it feels great. The material in the sleeves it is like pretty soft, but I like it. Sadly, I got hit by a car and one of the sleeves was ruined.

Here is a picture of the jersey (before the crash).

Love how it looks

Pockets are too high

  • Fit: Runs small

Yes it runs a small but don't bother me as much as the rear pocket's are too far up especially if you're not as flexible as smaller cyclist.

Nice, but don't like sleeves

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Medium and Large

I ordered both a M and L size because I wasn't sure which one would fit. The Medium was a bit too short and very snug. The large was a good length and just slightly loose so that was the best size for me. However, I will be returning because I don't like the fit/material of the sleeves. Otherwise its nice... I may try another Castelli Jersey instead.

Great jersey

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

I set out expecting to pay about double the price for a fancier jersey, but I kept coming back to this one. It is soft, light, and has a slightly less racey fit, so you can hit your fast Sunday club ride and hang out for a coffee afterward without feeling ridiculous. It breathes well and performs nicely in very hot weather. But for me the sleeves are key - they have Castelli's butter soft laser cut gripper fabric, which is snug but not tight. They bunch like crazy when standing, but fit perfectly smooth when riding without bunching or flapping. The pockets are high, but not enough to bother me. Locking zipper is nice. The waist uses the same fabric as the sleeves, so doesn't really grip, but the cut is more generous in the gut so it does not ride up on me. And there is a welcome reflective band. I have been pulling this jersey out ahead of others hanging next to it costing twice as much. Feels pretty durable so far, as well.

I would call the fit what passes for 'club fit' at Castelli -- order your usual Castelli size, and it will fit just a tad more relaxed.

Nice jersey

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I'm 5'7", 175lb with a relatively muscular build. I originally ordered the XL based on how tight the L fit me on a Castelli triathlon top, but XL was too loose. The L fits me very nicely around the shoulders, arms, and chest. I was concerned about the material on the arms based on the pictures, but it turns out to be a nice stretchy material that fits snug around my arms without feeling restrictive. The neck opening is not too tight, either, which is an issue I've had on other jerseys. It could stand to be a bit more snug around the waist, but this is really not designed to be a super-tight race fit anyway.

The materials feel nice and the construction quality seems solid. There is a nice dimpled texture to the fabric that seems to promote airflow help the jersey feel cool. The reflective band around the waist is a nice touch for visibility.

I haven't used it enough to speak to durability, yet.

Poor Design, Confusing Italian Sizing

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: 2XL and 3XL

This is the second, different model of Castelli jersey I've tried. I'm 5'10" and 195#, 42-44 inch shoulders and 35 inch waist. This Castelli jersey and the other model I've tried are made to fit best over a bib and only for the cycling position because when I stand up straight in this jersey it comes up over the waist of my Castelli Evoluzione shorts in both 2XL and 3XL sizes. Castelli jerseys are simply cut too short in the front and angled too much from front to rear for "tail drop." Size 2XL fits my shoulders fine but doesn't even reach the waist of my Castelli shorts and 3XL just barely does but not enough coverage. Castelli jerseys that are not "race fit" need a redesign and more appropriate sizing.

Awesome Jersey!

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: Runs small

Picked up one of these jerseys for my dad and he loves it so much he ended up getting 2 more!

As others have said make sure to get one size up as it will fit small compared to many others (fits true to size for Castelli).

The pockets are very functional and it also has the reflective trim which helps keep him safe during any low visibility riding.

Is best for hot weather riding but could be used as a 3 season jersey. Full zipper also nice for warmer weather and overall comfort.

He is not riding for a team this year so wanted so new jerseys to mix it up and really thinks this one is a winner. He has lots of time on the bike as well so he really knows when something he likes something and when it is quality. He has first and second place finishes in Lotoja and has done well in national and world races.

Overall great product from a great manufacturer, highly recommended. He may end up getting another as he has 2 in white and 1 in blue already.

Great for hot weather

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Size Bought: XL

We get 100+ temps on a regular basis and I needed something for hot days and bought this in white. XL is my regular size in Castelli and this fits right, though a bit looser in the chest and stomach than my other Castellis. At the same time the arms are nice and snug. The pockets are ridiculously high, making them a bit difficult to use on rides. Where the jersey really hits the mark is on comfort and coolness on hot days. It feels almost like wearing nothing. The zipper seems a bit flimsy but I'll reserve judgment on durability until it has some real wear on it. If you need a good hot weather jersey at a decent price this is a good one.

Great basic jersey

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

The jersey fits great and is great for the summer heat. I now have five of them. I gave it four out of five because the "pro" jerseys are worth the extra dough, and are five stars. Great budget jersey.

Runs small

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

With other brands I use L, I ordered L but it runs small, to me seems like is a jersey for kids

Jorge -- what hgt & weight are you, so we can a bearing on the fit. All brands fit differently, so it helps knowing what "other brands" are.

Great fitting shirt

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

Wore this past weekend to see how it works and it did a great job. I appreciated the slight compression on the arms, and the high pockets for having my phone + snacks. I am 5'9" and about 169 lbs and the large fit perfectly.

Looks great and is well made!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I needed a blue jersey to match up to some other color schemes and ordered this one. It looks great, fits great and is well constructed. Highly recommend. Agree that one size up is correct-just consistent with bike jersey sizing overall.

Typically Castelli

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Medium

I love this jersey.......fits perfect ( order one size larger) I usually order a medium in Castelli, a small in all other North American manufacturers clothes, such as Pearl Izumi, Voler, Louis Garneau, Sugoi, etc.......I'm 5 foot 6 and 150 lbs.......it's extremely comfortable and I love the high pockets.......I carry a pouch with tools, co2's, tube.....so I like the fact that the pockets hold everything high and don't sag around my butt.......I am very impressed with this jersey in this price range..........It does run small as most Euro clothes do, so it would be smart to order one size up......

Club fit, comfy, and does the job

  • Fit: True to size

The shoulders and the arms fit comfortably (I don't have big arms and I'm a small 5'7, 147lbs). It has the club fit looseness but it's not super flappy so... It's good for an everyday jersey when not looking to compress into a form fitting kit. It's a bit loose for me at medium so I will say it's sizes a little bigger than the usual form fitting Castelli jerseys. I'm exchanging for the Volata in the same size in hopes that it's a snugger fit.

I got the dark blue, red zipper and lettering. Grey sleeves on the arms. I didn't ride in it so I can't say how well it wicks and stays cool, but I'd say it's is good for spring/summer/fall based on the thickness of the material and ventilation of the Prosecco 3D material.

+ There's a reflective edge at the bottom of the jersey which works surprisingly well.
