In frigid climates, shoe covers are a winter-weather necessity. Castelli has perfected the on-the-bike fit of its shoe covers for comfort, fit, and weather-protection. The Castelli Diluvio All-Road Shoe Covers are its first overshoe designed specifically for riders who need to walk short distances in them.

Castelli constructed the Diluvio All-Road shoe covers from the same neoprene as its more on-the-bike focused version. Neoprene is an ideal insulation to keep your feet warm and dry. The conforming fit of these covers has also been coupled with a full-length, waterproof rear zipper, which eliminates water infiltration while making the covers easier to enter and exit. Additionally, Castelli added a zipper garage, a 16cm fitted cuff, and an O-ring at the top of the opening in order to seal out water.

It's also worth noting that, even though these were designed to be as waterproof as possible, in order to provide a slip-free walking surface, the soles of the All-Road are open. You may not stay quite as dry as with the standard Diluvio, but you won't wear out the covers while walking to the office, into the grocery store, or up flights of stairs.

In low-light conditions you'll also appreciate the wide reflective tape sewn around the zipper and the large Castelli logo on the sides.

The Castelli Diluvio All-Road Shoe Covers are available in the color Black and in the sizes Small/Medium (39-42), Large/X-Large (43-46), and XX-Large(47-48).

Keeps wet feet warm(ish)in the rain

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I used these a couple times in extended rain rides. Basically works like a wetsuit. Your feet will eventually get wet, but will stay on the warm side of cold. I was conservative and ordered XXL for size 45.5 Sidi Spiders. This works fine, but I think XL would have worked as well. So they are pretty true to size.

Great Shoe Covers

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

For Weather above 40F these boots along with merino socks work really well. In the 30's and below, you need toe warmers and they do the job. Really like these.

I'm looking to use these with low profile sneakers (cadence) and to be honest I doubt I'll do a lot of walking, just want to waterproof my commuter shoes, would these work?
