The Castelli Agnel Long Sleeve Jersey is styled just like its short sleeve counterpart and features bold Castelli logos across the chest and back, with contrasting bands of color on the sleeves and collar. It reminds us of classic team jerseys from yesteryear, and it pays homage to the Col of the same name, the 22.4km brute first climbed in the 2008 Tour.

The 100% polyester knit fabric that features a subtle waffled pattern that maintains the insulative ability while shedding weight and bulk -- perfect for layering in chilly weather. It wicks moisture away from your skin to keep you warm and comfortable as you ride. It has a full-length zipper, and you'll be able to manage your temperature easily when you set out to conquer your local testpiece. Pair it with a base layer for a touch of extra warmth on cool days.

The Castelli Agnel Long Sleeve Jersey is available in six sizes from Small to XXX-Large and comes in Black or White. Please check the dropdown menu for availability. It has the traditional three-pockets in back for the day's essentials.

Here's what others have to say...

Castelli Quality

Great Jersey from a trusted name in Cycling. The Jersey is well made like all Castelli products. You get what you pay for and this isn't your cheaply made knock off brand. The jersey's are made in Italy so they have that snugger Euro fit. I am 5'8 152lbs with a 38" chest and a 32" waist and this Jersey fits just right. Fits snug but comfortable as a slim fit jersey should. You don't want to be flapping in the wind on those long rides.
My only complaint is that the jersey could have been a little longer. But other than that, the jersey is well worth the discounted price here on RealCyclist.
The jersey is nice and lightweight and is perfect for those semi chilly evenings/mornings. Definitely not a winter jersey. Breathes well and looks oh so good.

What temps can this jersey be worn in? Im looking for a light weight summer long sleeve jersey similar to the Prologo HD jersey, to be worn between 70-80F. How do they compare?

this jersey is not for the winter. this is more for just chilly nights and mornings. I would wear a jacket over this or a heavier jersey in the winter

    Good fit, good fabric

An excellent jersey for sun protection. Fits true to size. Good breathable fabric.

      Nice form-fitting jersey

This is my 2nd favorite jersey. It is more form-fitting than the Capo Verona, and I had to go up one size compared to what I normally wear. I'm 5' 9", 163 lbs, 41" chest, and I wear an XL in this jersey. Large in the Capo. The arms on the Castelli are snug, no flapping at all, and seal nicely at the wrists. Great zipper, and it looks awesome. Not as warm as the Capo, but it is lighter.

        Didn't really match the bib-shorts

Overall I liked the fit, small as others suggest so going one size up was adequate for me. What I didn't like is that it didn't match the Agnel bib shorts very well. Odd. Good looking jersey, but just doesn't seem to match the set. Oh well.

          Sizing - Agnel Long Sleeve

I purchased the Agnel Long Sleeve jersey. It's warm and well made. However, the size was very small. I sized up to XL (one size up from my usual) and I should have gone to XXL. Sleeves are generously long, which I appreciate. I am 6'1', 185lbs, and my chest is 42".

            Unanswered Question

This question is for MTBGuy. What size did...

This question is for MTBGuy. What size did you order and what size did you exchange for? I am 5'11" and wear a Capo Jersey/Jacket (they call it a jacket but looks more like a jersey) in XXL and it meas. exactly 22" from armpit to armpit laid flat and it fits me comfy/snug. I am thinking of getting this jersey and would like a more thorough opinion.

Great for fall or early winter

This is, as usual from Castelli, a very good jersey. It is sized a bit small per their usual standards, so you may want to size up. It is not a winter jersey, as the inside of the jersey, while it has a soft, warm inside, is not fit for use in the winter. Just for fall, perhaps early winter. It looks great, the colors are true, and the red really pops on the black jersey.

All in all, a much better than "average" jersey, and well worth the sale price, and even the regular price.

              My little agnel...

Theres good news but Lets get the bad news out of the way first. I'm deducting 1 star for the weird fit of this jersey and 1 star because Castelli seems to be famous for its inconsistency in sizing. This Got returned for being too tight across the chest and armpits. However, if you're not a barrel chested, 5'11" man-ape, this may fit you well. Sleeves are a bit long but I'd prefer that to being too short. Otherwise material is great and regulates temps well. I have a similar jersey that I've worn in cold weather down to 40 degrees and warm weather into the high 70's. Not once did I feel too cold or too overheated. Too bad they can't get the cut right for us Neanderthals.
