Perfect jersey for cool weather
There ain't much to say about this jersey. First off, it's Capo - which should tell you a lot. Capo makes GREAT gear. Second, it's nice and snug which is exactly what you want in a fall/winter jersey. Core stays warm, arms are hugged like a loved-one would. Awesome jersey.
I got a couple of these jerseys during the summer and waited to use them through the fall and winter. I am 5'9" and 165 lbs and the large was a perfect fit. The sleeves are long - good because like most cyclists I have long arms. On its own the jersey is good in 45-55F weather and with a baselayer down to 35F. This morning I rode in with a rain jacket over the top in 25F weather. It wicks away sweat, maintains it shape and the colors have not faded at all. This is is a great product that looks and feels amazing. Great quality Italian gear for a good price.
Agree with previous post that the sleeves run somewhat loose. I am not all that happy with my Tomba jersey because the white cuff is stained after 4 rides. Might come out with Biz. Also the material snags easily. For overall Italian quality I prefer my Zero rh+ gear. Can't go wrong w/ DeMarchi either.
6 ft, 185, XL, fit in body is good, but the sleeves are a little looser than I would prefer, otherwise 5 stars. The elastic at the cuffs is kinda bulky. The zipper is great, can actually open and close with one hand while riding! The graphic is great too, I really feel visible to drivers out there. Highly recommend.
Ordered an XL and it is a little big in the waist but the length and the sleeve length is perfect. I'm 6'3" and 175 with a 31" waist. I have a really long torso and very long arms. It is really difficult to find a perfect fit for me, but this is the closest I've found. The quality is amazing. Made in Italy. I highly recommend. The best jersey I have ever owned.
I am 175lbs 6'2 and got the large--the fit for me is SPOT ON. Form fitting without being too baggy. It's the summer time so haven't been able to try it out, but looking forward to using this jersey towards the end of the fall and winter. Nice brushed/fleece surface on the inside. Should work for 50 degree rides I'm guessing; add a lnice ong sleeve base layer and I'm guessing you could go down to 40/45 degrees. Seems very well constructed--no loose threads and there's a nice silicone gripper on the rear hem to keep it in place.
For the current price, can't beat it.
love capo..nice for cool temps(below 16C) it does nice...well here in south cali 41C but stocking my winter gear
Can anyone help me out with sizing? I'm...
Can anyone help me out with sizing? I'm 6' and usually wear a L but am wondering whether I might need to go up to an XL for this.
If anything they run a bit large.
Great jersey but cut was not to my liking
Great look, nice light material and super strong gripper waist. However, ended up returning it because the fit was not really what I wanted, the Modena jersey I own has a more "tight" and form fitting cut to it which I prefer to this one. The Tomba fit is a bit looser and more spacious in the arms and shoulders which for a smaller guy like me makes it almost baggy.
Summary: Awesome jersey just not the fit I like
great long sleeve jersey
A great warmer-weight jersey - I wear it on mornings when the temp is going to be between 47-60 degrees F. Took two tries to get size right - I'm 5'9, 135 and the med was a bit big; the small fit perfectly
Just got it. I'm 5'10". 175, ordered xl and it fits great, feels great
quality is awesome.
