Rosa is the New Black.

For the construction of the Rosa Bib Shorts, Capo used its Ceramica Lycra, HG Lycra, and V-Mesh 360. The Ceramica fabric, as the name implies, is actually made with natural clay-based yarns. Testing showed Capo that by implementing this material into its fabrics, increased circulation and temperature regulation could be achieved over previous Lycra iterations. You'll notice the distinct honeycomb appearance of this fabric, which, in addition to providing exceptional moisture transfer from the skin to the material's outer layer, is also extremely durable. This characteristic comes as a much-welcomed side effect of compressive fabrics. Because the Ceramica is a tight knit, 36-gauge material used to securely hold your muscles in place, the fabric also yields a dense feel with a heightened level of durability. Capo targeted abrasion-prone inner thigh and saddle panels with this material specifically for this reason.

Side leg panels received Capo's high-gauge (HG) Lycra. This is also a highly compressive spandex that is very abrasion-resistant. The HG was treated with Coldblack technology that doesn't wash out and is able to dissipate heat better than other stretch fabrics. It accomplishes this by reflecting the sun's rays off the Lycra rather than absorbing it, which means you'll feel cooler and perform better as your body heats up. The bib shorts' uppers received Capo's super lightweight V-Mesh 360. This open mesh fabric is highly elastic with a supple texture that provides unmatched comfort, support, and freedom of upper body movement. And while the V-mesh 360 keeps your top half secure, the bib shorts' leg panels stay in place using 4cm silicone-backed grippers.

The chamois incorporated into the Rosa Bib Shorts is Capo's Anatomic-DP Carbon Elastic Interface Technology (EIT) Insert. They use high-density open-cell foam bonded to a microfiber layer that has antimicrobial carbon fiber threads woven through it to aid in moisture evaporation. In addition to the slim, malleable shape, there are 6mm and 8mm-thick pads built into the pre-curved profile to optimize support on longer rides.

Capo Rosa Bibs

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

Fit is true to other Capo products. Leg cuffs feel great, not too tight, and not too loose. Chamois is solid, and over build construction is great. Very high quality bibs.

I am looking at these bibs but can't figure out best size. I am 6 foot tall, 41 inch chest, 31 inch waist, and I'm not quadzilla. Would I be better with a medium or large?

Those are men Bibs. They run slim/race fit, meaning they are suitable for a slender rider. There is a chart that tells accurately the right fit. Women bibs have a different chamois....

Real men wear pink. These fit great and don't ride up. No elastic, instead a cuff holds them in place - very nice. Chamois is the right size. Love them. I get a lot of comments that they look nice.
