Capo Padrone Jersey - Short-Sleeve - Men's $0.00
Was that Batman?
The man in black. The subtle styling of the Capo Men's Padrone Cycling Jersey doesn't let on about the high level of technical innovation lurking beneath the surface. The multi-directional stretch microfiber construction moves moisture away from your skin to keep you dry and comfortable, and includes carbon thread technology that reduces odor and reduces the effects of harmful UV rays on both your jersey and your skin.

First off, just to say, I wouldn't spend $200 on a jersey, but with Real Cyclist's great deal I was able to buy this jersey at significant savings. It's definitely a couple of notches above the standard jerseys that run $65-90. Great materials and comfort....all the other previous reviews go much further into those aspects. Everybody wants to know about fit....I am 5'8" 146 lbs, 30.5" waist, 38" chest....went for the Medium, per the lower end of the Capo (medium) chart range. It fits that way....snug at the waist, close fit at the chest, which is fine. I didn't want the jersey to fit too tight, as I don't come anywhere close to racing. It fits similarly to my Pearl Izumi mediums and my Castelli large GPM jersey.
The sleeves are longer than normal, which is ok, but the black armbands make the white/black jersey look a little "formal". I ended up folding the sleeves up (2 times the width of the black band) and it looks nicer, IMO, with mostly white showing. Rode in 90F degree weather and it performed admirably; fast drying.
Happy with the buy :-)
From one Capo to another!
This is superior gear. The quality of the materials and workmanship is far better than anything else I have seen. The sizes and cut are accurate and racing style. 6'2", 185 lbs., 42" chest=Size XL. (Mostly due to height.)
Agree with previous review, nice cut and its very breathable. Dont know if I would have bought at full price, love RC!
Nice cut and very breathable. This is my first jersey in this price range, and I didn't really know what to expect. Mostly, once it's on I don't notice it... which is about the best complement these things can get.
Beautiful Italian style with fine quality and exceptional fit. Very comfortable and looks exceptional. Padrone is an impressive and well-crafted jersey you can really feel the difference in the quality. Well worth it, got great price as always from Real Cyclist. I just ordered a second jersey in black. Real Cyclist is the place for great service and pricing .
A Unique Jersey
Great fit & fabric. The longer sleeve takes some getting used to but is a nice option to have. Everything works as expected and you don't think about it once it's on, which is kinda the point. Love the capo zippers! Super Smooth and can operate with on hand. High price is the reason for not getting 5 stars
Great for long rides
I wear almost nothing but capo gear. And while I can do long rides in all of them I decided to upgrade to a nicer kit.
Wow what a difference. Every little annoying thing about the other kits are gone in this kit. No tags seams etc anywhere that will annoy you.
Great for 8 hour long rides.
5 stars for quality. 0 stars for my place on the bell curve
I waited for months for this high tech über-expensive kit to go on sale, and Realcyclist of course is the only seller who did it....so I snatched it up.
When it arrived, I was practically drooling. The flat and smooth leg/arm grippers, the textured ribby fabric finish, the yoke on the back of the jersey, the exceptional pockets, the understated black color...it was like a Lamborghini, a festival of awesomeness. I could already feel myself dusting the crew on the next epic ride.
Until I tried it on.
OK, it's not entirely Capo's fault.
This stuff is made in Italy. I'm 6'5" and 225 lbs., with a 36" waist and a 46" chest.
Those 2 statements are incompatible.
The XXL jersey and bibs were made for someone much smaller. If I flexed, I would have gone all Incredible Hulk and torn the kit to shreds. If I made it onto the bike, I would have been singing soprano in the first mile.
I was shattered.
Luckily Capo makes several other kits that fit me well (Turismo, Tomba)...so I'll continue to buy their gear.
And, thanks to the awesome service & return policy, whatever I buy will come from Realcyclist. You guys ROCK.
