From Milan to the Mountains.

Made of the company's proven Thermo Roubaix fabric, the Capo Lombardia DWR Leg Warmers offer a fantastic degree of wind and rain protection on the outside, thanks to a DWR water-ready treatment, while their soft interior keeps your lower half well-insulated. Silicone grippers around the top keep them in place, and zippers at the bottom make them easy to get on and off, even over shoes.

Not recommended.

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I'm 5'11" with pretty typical (maybe on the skinny side) legs, and got these in L/XL. They're sized stupidly - stretch all the way up to my nads and still have enough material to bunch in places. At the same time, they're awfully tight. Sprinters and track cyclists should look elsewhere. Seams on the back chaffe around the knee if they aren't perfectly aligned, and the ones at the top chaffed as well. Like I said, it was up by my nads, and not cool to have chaffe-y pain right there for a few days.

Also, they forgot to apply the dwr finish onto the pair they sent me. Or, it just sucks and doesn't work at all.

Got these for ~1/2 off and still not thrilled. Gave it two stars because they haven't fallen apart yet, and they manage to keep my legs warm, but so would a much cheaper basic pair of standard roubaix warmers.

Nicely made

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I live in San Francisco, so it gets regularly chilly past 5-6pm.

About my anatomy, I'm 5'7", but have a 28" inseam (should be 30" or more for my height). I'm one of those individuals with a long back and short legs. My thighs aren't huge, but a bit above average.

I bought the S/M and while it fits (with a little bit of adjusting and effort) it's just a tad tight. I release a bit of the zipper for relief. The compression is better than I expected, but it works well.

It keeps my legs at a good temp. I would go w/ L/XL if you have an anatomy like mine. Otherwise, S/M is good.

The material inside is nice and soft, as expected. The zipper hasn't caught my leg hair yet.
