Weather the weather.

By hopping on a bike, you're inherently connecting yourself to the climate. The weather isn't just outside anymore — it's now a major element in your personal atmosphere. Make it a less major one on days when cold winds or rains threaten your space by bringing along the Capo Pursuit Wind Jacket.

The Pursuit jacket is sewn from two materials: Compact RS and Wind ST. The front, back, and sleeves of the jacket are cut from Compact RS, an ultra-light and soft ripstop polyester. It's an impressively compressible fabric, enabling you to wad the jacket up and fit it into the included stuff sack. Compact RS does a great job of stopping wind and can even keep you dry in damp conditions; it's not really meant to serve as a rain jacket in a downpour, but it can keep you warm and comfortable in lighter surprise precipitation. To make the jacket breathable, the side panels are cut from Wind ST, a stretchy circular weave polyester that offers some permeability and a four-way stretch that enables the form-following fit.

The jacket uses a full-length, lockable zipper, so when you turn the pull down, it stays put. Should you plan to keep the jacket on for the whole of your ride, the zippered pouch is great for carrying a cell phone or anything else you may want to stay dry. When the weather improves, you can pack it into its sack, stuff it in your jersey pocket, and still have room for a phone or energy bar.

The Capo Pursuit Wind Jacket is available in the colors Black or White and comes in five sizes from Small to XX-Large.

It is not rain proof at all, in almost any weather you steam up, and its just too expensive for not doing anything. I ended up cutting the arms off and use it as an emergency wind vest if the temps might drop really fast. Other than that it just refuses to breath all all. Possibly if it had some ventilation it might be more useful. Thankfully i only spent 25 dollars on this or else i would really not be pleased.

I will admit it lets zero wind in and on super cold days it was a decent first layer when it was really cold for the first hour of the ride and then you could store it. But be careful because sweat will build up fast even in 20 degree rides.
