Capo GS-13 Leggero Wind Jacket $0.00
Capo's new GS-13 Leggero Wind Jacket features advanced anatomic design and thermal regulation properties that combine the highly technical fabrics and streamlined race fit that you've come to expect from Capo. The jacket was built to keep your core protected from the elements as you spin away late into the fall and winter riding seasons.
Capo's GS-13 Leggero Wind jacket falls under what it calls its "Gruppo Sportivo" series. This technical line of apparel places an emphasis on comfort, materials, and above all, warmth. So, towing this line, the GS-13 was constructed from a blend of Capo's finest fabrics: Element-4, Super Roubaix Carbon, and Winter Quattro. Starting with Element-4, this material strikes the ideal balance between insulation and breathability. Operating as a membrane between your core layers and the elements, the fabric regulates the internal temperature of the jacket by releasing excess heat between the material and the layers underneath. But mainly, this system promotes warmth by keeping you dry. The fabric's composition favors a lightweight, all-way stretch design over bulky, fleecy fabrics. Element-4 is not only wind-resistant, but Capo made sure that it was water-resistant as well. Match that with a slim cut from hem to hem, and there's not a chance that rain or snow is getting in.
And while staving off icy winds is integral in protection from the elements, a majority of the GS-13's insulation warmth is derived from the Super Roubaix Carbon and Winter Quattro fabrics. Super Roubaix is a lightweight, four-way stretch microfiber with a carbon knit component for enhanced moisture transfer and antimicrobial protection. Winter Quattro complements this material with its dual-knit composition that provides both light insulation and breathability.
The GS-13 was also designed to be highly malleable in order to complement the cycling-specific flexibility of the jacket's cut. Capo made the GS-13 with a lengthened rear hem, a multiple panel construction, and pre-shaped sleeves. The idea was to move with the body while in motion, and by doing so, reducing any possibility of abrasion along the way. For on-the-fly ventilation, the GS-13 comes equipped with a full-length front zipper.
The Capo GS-13 Leggero Wind Jacket is available in the color Yellow and in five sizes from Small to XX-Large.

I'm trying to understand the differences between the GS 13 wind jacket, the soft shell GS 13 and the Padrone. The wind jacket seems more like a thermal jersey with wind blocking areas? And, how do you characterize the differences between the soft shell GS 13 and the Padrone? I like the high vis look of the GS 13 but I'm thinking it is meant more for high intensity cold weather riding? Whatever garments I choose, I'll wear them mostly riding solo at a moderate tempo in 20-40 degree weather.
Perfect High Tempo Cold Weather Jersey
- Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
This Jersey is great for road riding in cold weather. It's very bright, stretchy and has windproof material in all the rights spots. Fit is very tight but spot on with chart, I'm 6'2 200 with wide shoulders and long arms and torso and XXL is perfect.
