Enjoy the long rides ahead.

The new Fondo Jersey delivers the timeless style and proven materials that you've come to expect from Capo, making it the ideal upper body layer for logging those important training miles this season. The Fondo was cut with a club-inspired fit, providing optimal comfort for your longest days in the saddle.

For the construction of the Fondo, Capo used its Microsphere fabric for its airy composition and low weight. This material breathes exceptionally well, and it rapidly transfers moisture away from your skin to its quick-drying outer-layer. Combined with these lightweight and thermo-regulating properties, Microsphere also stretches in order to wrap and support your upper body and arm muscles while in the cycling position. At the shoulders, the material incorporates what's known as Coldblack technology. This is a finishing treatment that reduces the absorption of heat rays in darker fabrics, resulting in protection from the sun and improved heat management. By selecting this single fabric for the jersey's entirety, Capo was able to create panels that smoothly transition from one to another without any disturbance. This means that the jersey's seams all but disappear, which leads to better aerodynamics than other jerseys that rely on a multitude of mixed fabric panels.

Capo focused equally on implementing its best fabric technology as it did refining the jersey's fit. The goal of the Fondo was to create a streamlined jersey with both maximum freedom of movement and the most breathable, lightweight materials available. This fit was made possible using pre-shaped fabric panels that follow the body while in motion. When sewn together, these panels form somewhat of a three dimensional shape on their own, mimicking the body before even reaching your shoulders.

Like all of Capo's jerseys, the Fondo was made with a full-length, lockable zipper. With the zipper flipped in the upright position, the jersey can be pulled apart with one hand. Simply flip the zipper down, and it locks. This makes opening yourself up for ventilation a safe, single-handed affair while riding. The locking zipper is indeed a tiny detail, but once you discover how easy it is to use, you'll never want to ride without one. Three generous back pockets house plenty of room for tools, snacks, or any other essentials you might need for your ride, and a silicone-treated hem keeps the jersey in place.

The Capo Fondo Jersey is available in five sizes from Small to XX-Large and in the colors Cyan, Pink, Red, and Yellow.

Runs larger than my previous Capo jersey

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I'm 5' 11", 175+ lbs, 40-41" chest, 33" sleeves. My most recent prior Capo jersey was a XXL to get a decent fit. I forgot to pay attention to the "Club Fit" in the item description and ordered an XXL, which was like a tent on me. Exchanged it for a L and it now fits me fine, form-fitting, but not tight, though it could be a tad longer in the torso. Full-length zipper is nice. Mine was made in Tunisia, and I'm not sure if quality is the same as my prior Capo--fabric feels a bit thinner, lighter weight overall. Time will tell.

Careful...........Not club fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

While the quality and materials are very good, this is far from a club-fit jersey. Comfortable in the drops/on the hoods, but pretty form fitting like most of my other road jerseys. Sizing seems slightly off too. I'm 6'1" 210 lbs and it is tight in the chest/ribs and of course tight around my love handles. Again, looks ok and feels good riding, looks bad and is cut very slim while standing around. I ordered the XXL There is no way the XL would have fit at all.
