Tell the competition “I must break you.”

The Drago 2.0 jersey sits proudly atop Capo’s Advanced Technology System line of clothing, and it has earned the honor. The Drago is the most elastic jersey that Capo has ever made, which makes it comfortable, efficient, and aerodynamic. Capo achieved this feat with a whole new mix of fabrics.

The Drago’s main bod is made with Flash ATS. This superlight tricot knit polyester is extremely stretchy and manages moisture more efficiently than just about any polyester on the market. The underarm panels are made with laser-perforated mesh to force air through the jersey. Capo used antimicrobial carbon core threads in the mesh back panels to dump heat and pull moisture away from your skin. The Drago is also treated with Schoeller Coldblack, which makes the fabric cool to the touch, even in direct sunlight.

Every aspect of the Drago 2.0 is carefully designed. The soft microfiber collar eliminates neck chafe, and the tight elastic hem holds the jersey in place while you pedal. Three pockets grace the back of the jersey, plus a smaller zippered pocket for your MP3 player.

  • Flash ATS
  • Laser-perforated stretch mesh
  • Zipper garage at hem
  • Schoeller Coldblack

the sleeves

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: M

The fabric and body fit are exceptional, but the sleeves are designed for people without biceps. They arm hole is tight and designed to clinch a bit up from the elbow. But if you possess muscles on your arms and flex, the sleeves bunch up immediately so they're only a few inches past the shoulder. And then you pull them back down and flex again and they bunch up and repeat. So if you've got a skinny upper body, it'll be great. Not for me though.

Drago 2.0 Jersey

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XXL

Outstanding Jersey. The sleeves are quite tight, smaller than normal, I have this issue with one other CAPO Jersey. underarms are very cool, most immediate observation. Fit is true to Capo sizes, mine is XXL, I have 10 CAPO Jerseys. This is the finest one, and I enjoy them all. All of mine are Made in Italy, not all CAPO Jerseys are. Looks great. Trek rider.

Awesome Fit, Look, and Performance

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

So originally I hated this jersey and gave it 3 stars and complained about temps and when I could wear it...being too hot and problems with the pockets. I left it hanging in my closet as a result and planned to sell it on ebay one day.
Recently I gave it another shot and forgot how great this thing fits. It is a tad heavier than other summer jerseys but I never really gave it a chance. So this time when I wore it I did not wear my usual summer base layer and that was the deciding me at least. I wore it in 100 degree temps and it was awesome. And the more you sweat, the better it performs. To fix the pocket issue, I slid my bike pump in the middle pocket which prevented the jersey from creeping up and making the middle pocket impossible to get into while riding. This is now my go-to jersey and I wear it in temps 75-100 degrees with no problems. It is well made and the cut is awesome.

I don't know what to think.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have a love/hate relationship with Capo.
I love their fabrics, the pads in their bibs, but with some of their stuff I own, I'm disappointed while wearing it.

I'm not skinny at 5'9" and 160#, but I got the Med. and it fits really nice. I would say that it does conform to your body well, but not too tight, because of the elasticity.
It stays in place on the bike, the sleeves stay down for the most part which is a HUGE pet-peeve of mine. I don't know why more manufacturers can't get this right, including Assos.

That's where the goodness stops for me.
This jersey feels really heavy on. It's not a heavy weight jersey, but it feels like you have a sweater on almost. It's also the warmest jersey I own, and I run cold usually. I last wore it on a windy, 70 degree evening. I was almost too warm which is usually never the case with all my other jerseys.
Thankfully the mesh under the arms helps a lot. It just doesn't live up to all the technological jargon that's in the description.
I do think it breathes, but it just doesn't feel cool. Hard to explain, maybe cause I got the black one.
The middle pocket is lined with like a rubbery material, I think to keep what you put in there dry, but that is at the small of my back and it gets sweaty there because that material doesn't breathe.
The zipper "garage" at the hem, looks neat, but it makes for a hard time starting the zipper sometimes. The flaps of the garage always get caught in the zipper.

When you pick up the jersey, the fabrics feel so awesome and it looks great on and off. It's like, "how could this not be awesome.?"
I don't know, but for me it isn't
There's no way this jersey should be $249. Fortunately I didn't pay anywhere near that.
In my opinion, the best jersey out right now is the Sportful Gruppetto Pro and it's less than half the price, at which I don't even know if this one is worth.

The Porsche of Jerseys

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love this jersey. Great fit. Excellent ventilation. Super high quality materials. Distinctive. When you look closely at all the details you realize the research and effort that went in to creating this garment.

I am 6 feet tall, 162 lbs and wear a Large and it fits like a very comfortable glove. I might be able to squeeze in to a medium but the jersey would be too short. Order up one size if you are between sizes.

One warning--this jersey would be very unflattering if you are carrying much extra weight around the middle and / or are bulked up on top. It is form fitting and is designed for a leaner build.

Unanswered Question

Any more info on the fit/form?

The "Fit" category above says "form fit", others say "slim" and so on but I cannot ascertain how these terms relate. From what I would call "race fit" (no bagginess or bunching anywhere) to something more relaxed. I see no mention of this gradation on Capo's site either.

More to the point, a 2012 Bikeradar review of the Drago said it was snug but not extreme. Extreme sounds like something is too small and therefore more likely it was not too small for the reviewer but that he prefers a fit that is not a "race fit". Indeed, past photos of this jersey seem to show some bunching up around the arms, shoulders, etc. But they could have changed the cut in the recent version.

Your mannequin photo makes it look like a perfect race fit but these mannequin photos can be misleading. This is 2015 so ...

Can you describe the fit of this latest Drago jersey a bit more?

(I like a race fit.)

Many thanks!
