Capo designed the long-sleeved Cipressa much like its short-sleeved summer counterpart, but with a few season-oriented changes to better suit cold weather riding. Sewn into a comfortable race fit, the Long-Sleeved Women's Cipressa Jersey has all the features you'll want while climbing up steep canyons during the winter months.
The jersey is made with a combination of Super Roubaix Carbon and Sky Microfiber. Super Roubaix Carbon has a soft, brushed inner layer that retains heat well. Because of its thermal properties , it's used in areas that are prone to chill while riding – your arms and chest. Super Roubaix Carbon is distinguishable on the jersey because of the small zigzag pattern the carbon weave has. Though the carbon thread adds a touch of style to the jersey, its main purpose is to pull moisture away from the body. Weather benefits aside, Super Roubaix Carbon has a four-way-stretch that won't inhibit your movements in the saddle. The lighter weight Sky Microfiber lines the back and underarms of the jersey. This dual-knit material adds better breathability and moisture transfer to these areas that are prone to heat build-up and perspiration. Since you still need a way to ventilate while pushing up hors categorie climbs, the jersey comes with a full-length cam-lock zipper.
The Cipressa works best on its own in temperatures ranging from 40-50 degrees, and acts as a great thermal baselayer under a jacket when the temperature drops. It comes with two sizeable rear pockets that hold an extra layer, nutrition, and spare tube.
The Capo Women's Cipressa Long-Sleeve Jersey comes in Black/black and White/black. It is available in four sizes, X-Small through Large.
