Because nobody wants to drink warm water during a hot summer run or ride.

Like most water bottles, the Camelbak 21oz Podium Chill Insulated Water Bottle keeps you hydrated on runs or bike rides. Unlike most bottles, this one keeps your water cold from the first hour to the last. Its BPA-free TruTaste polypropylene material is safer to drink out of than polycarbonate plastics and it won't distort your water's taste, and HydroGuard insulation keeps your beverage chilled twice as long as regular sports bottles. The Jet Valve cap is spill-proof and self-sealing so you can squeeze some deliciousness down your gullet quickly and get back to what you were doing.

  • BPA-free TruTaste polypropylene bottle
  • Jet Valve cap

Awesome water bottle

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This water bottle fits my son great for school, sports. Love the nozzle where you can turn it ans nothing comes out. This is our second one and the other has been through it all and still works great.

The Best Insulated Bottle For Your Bike

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love my hydroflask, but it is really heavy and cannot fit in my water bottle cage. I needed a lightweight alternative bottle and this bottle really does the trick! Keeps my ice whole on a multi hour ride and fits in my cage perfectly. 10/1o would recommend!

Perfect for MTB riding

This bottle is great for MTB riding. It doesn't leak at all while it's in my bike's water bottle holder, even when the bike is laying on the ground. .

    Ur. Love this bottle.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Not sure that it keeps things quite as cool and quite as insulated as I might like, but it has very quickly replaced ALL my other water bottles as my go to for everyday -- because it fits my cup holder in the center console in my car (all important) AND it is kinda the perfect volume -- not so big that it weighs you down, but big enough to get a decent quantity of liquid into you.

I use it for pre & post workout hydration, road riding, mountain biking, surf trips, and just getting around town.

    Best Bottle Ever!!!

This bottle is convenient for work it keeps me hydrated with ice cold water or anything else all day. Also because of the bright color it keeps my drink from being thrown out. Plus it holds a good amount of water.

      Best Bottle Ever!!!

      Perfect water bottle

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Doesn't leak like every other water bottle I've ever owned. Use it mostly for road biking. Perfect fit for my carriages. No spills, no clumsy easy. Easy to clean as well.

      Great nozzle!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm a huge fan of the camelback bottle's nozzle. The insulation is nice too, but the nozzle is the key for me.

It is easy to drink from, but then actually seals off when locked. Like 100% sealed. As in, I can put it in my backpack with a computer and not worry about it. It's great.

One thing to note is that I've found it's much easier to "unlock" the cap while it's still in the cage, then pull it out and drink, rather than with traditional bottles where I "unlock" them with my teeth.

      My wife loves it

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got this for my wife and she took it for a ride up "The Wall" in Southern Utah and loved it; good insulation, water flow, no leaking, no plastic taste, fits well in standard cages.

      Better Bottle

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I own many of these and they have been my daily bottle for many years. Great size fits in cages and cup holders with ease.

      Great Bottle

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

One of my favorite bottles. The squeeze cap on the top is the best I've ever used. I've since switched to Specialize Purist simply b/c they're more affordable and fit better in my cages, but I still find these to be the best I've had.

      "Slate" bottle isn't as pictured

It is more of a faded red/pink color. Also there is a pattern on the bottle.

good bottle, but colors not accurate.

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've used a couple insulated bottles and to tell the truth I can't tell the difference between them. My only complaints are
      1) what I ordered didn't match what is in the picture. I ordered the "Slate" which I expected to be a nice red color, and instead what I received has a faded pinkish hue, along with a pattern on the bottle that isn't what is pictured (I will upload a community picture so you see what I mean).
      2) the bottle diameter is slightly larger than my other camelback bottle. Not a big deal, but it is just large enough to make getting it in and out of my cage cumbersome.

      Keeps water in liquid form

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Love this thing. I can leave it in the car in the morning before skiing and my water is still in liquid when I get back, regardless of the freezing temps.

      Keeps it cooler.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I ride in southern California with frequent summertime rides through the desert at temperatures reaching 100 degrees. Nothing worse than reaching down and taking a drink of hot water. In a standard bottle the cold water will get pretty hot in less than an hour, but with the insulated bottle the water stays cooler much longer. Quality construction and leak proof spout are great as well. One of these lasts me a long time, as long as I don't lose it ;)

Due to the insulation they do hold a bit less water than a standard bottle, so keep that in mind on potentially longer rides.

      Good Commuter Bottle

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great commuter water bottle. The valve mechanism allows for a secure leak proof full closure if you are just transporting the bottle with liquid in it. No plastic taste. Doesn't keep water cold for too long but better than the average water bottle.

      Best bottles on the market

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are just fantastic bottle for what really only cost a few bucks over a cheap "standard" bottle. You get a much better nozzle and also insulation. Now the insulation doesn't work wonders, so don't expect a cold drink after 4 hours, BUT, what it does do is keep cold liquid inside your bottle from making it sweat like crazy as soon as you go outside if you live in a humid place. My old bottles would get covered in sweat and then my hands/gloves would get wet when I'd take a drink. These stay nice and dry, and they do stay a little colder longer, which doesn't hurt either.

      Great bottle for biking

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have two of these and use them on both my road and mountain bikes. The valve is easy to use - just give the bottle a good squeeze and you've got water. The squeeze valve also does a pretty good job of shedding dirt if you're riding in wet/muddy conditions. You don't actually have to put the valve in your mouth (as long as your aim doesn't suck) so I haven't had issues with sucking down dirt. The valve also locks up pretty securely so you don't have to worry about spills in the car. The insulation won't keep things cold all day unless you have a ton of ice in your bottle, but it is plenty to keep things cool for a couple hours on a hot day. The bottles are easy to clean and I've never had any issues with plastic or rubber taste, even after leaving the bottle filled for a couple days by accident.

I pair these with the Elite Cannibal Water Bottle Cage and it makes for a very secure fit. I haven't had any issues with the bottle popping out, even on rowdier mountain rides. The bottle is compact enough to easily fit on my mountain bike (Santa Cruz Bronson, large frame). I've found that the 21oz size is perfect for an hour or so on a hot day. I take two with me if I'm taking my road bike out for a longer trip.
