Love it

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Got this for my son's 4th birthday. He rides a 16" bike so there's nowhere to carry water on the bike - this lets him carry plenty of water and keep riding while drinking so I love it. There's a small zippered spot that fits a spare 16" tube perfectly and his tool roll has a nice storage compartment leaving the larger zippered spot free for treasures. Kid loves it. Only complaint I have are the lack of color options compared to the adult packs.

Love it

Kids friggin love em

Bought three of these for my nieces and nephew when they came to Park City for a mountain vacation, and they LOVED them. Holds plenty of water for the little ones, and does not slow them down. As evidenced by their sprinting from the base of Sterling at Deer Valley to the top faster than Usain Bolt. But the best feature, by far, the more water the kids carry, the less you have to!

A great edition for long days on the trail or just a stroll on an afternoon. Either way the kids have their own packs which can carry their water, snack, and light jacket. This hydration pack is the perfect size, not adding too much bulk to any sport. Two pockets offer organization with surprising room. The 1.5L bladder holds plenty of fluids for a worthy day out. The mesh back panel claims improved ventilation but I’m skeptical about that. It mostly just retains dirt and other organic materials from our outings. Bottom line is, the kids have their own hydration packs they are responsible for and that makes me happy.

We now own one of these for both our 8 and 5 yr olds. They love having their own packs for mountain biking and hiking. There is enough room to carry snacks, small sunscreen, rain jacket and even an extra tube for their bikes. Straps adjust for the perfect fit even on the smaller 5 yr old.

I bought this for my daughter as she was starting a mountain bike camp. The pack has been great and allows plenty of storage for a day on the bike. It sits comfortably on her back and allows her freedom to ride without her pack getting in the way.

No complaints yet

I bought this as a present for my nephew and he loves it. He takes it on all his outings and I haven't heard any complaints yet.

A must have for little explorers!

My kids have used and abused these for 3 years and they have been the best little packs for hiking/biking. They not only haul their water, but can fit some snacks and a fleece or rain jacket. The straps adjust so they can grow with your kids and last a long time. My kids are now 7 and 9 and we are out much longer on our adventures, so we will soon be upgrading to the Scout pack so they can haul more stuff.

Awesome gift

My little bro is six and such a little adventurer. This was the perfect gift for him to get him ready for a season of hikes and bike rides.

can you switch out the tube for an insulated tube?

The Antidote Reservoir that comes with the Mini-MULE doesn't have the QuickLink fittings. So you could swap in an insulated tube, but you'd also need to pick up the QuickLink conversion kit.

Mini mule

My boy is six and loves the mini mule. Mostly for mountainbiking and hiking , but also adventure in general . I'll let him take the handle bars on this one. " I like the rescue whistle, how the pack holds stuff and water" nuf said !

This is the real deal

My 5 year old nephew wanted a hiking bag like his aunt. I was so happy to find this bag and let me tell you - it's a GREAT little bag for a kid. Really it's just a mini version of a day hiking bag. Fit him well and he can get a few years out of it before being too big for it.

Great Pack

I bought this pack for my nephew. He loves it! It's not very big but he can carry his own water and a jacket. The flame decal is a fun detail for kids. I'm sure he'll get a lot of use out of this pack.
