Description

Much lower maintenance than a pack mule.

You don’t need a pack animal trailing behind you when you have the CamelBak M.U.L.E. NV Hydration Pack to carry your gear and enough water for a full day of single-track adventures. Featuring the new Antidote 100-ounce reservoir and the venting NVIS back panel, you’ll stay comfortable and hydrated all day. When you hit a patch of gnarly weather, the integrated rain cover keeps your gear (especially your electronics) dry.

  • New Antidote reservoir includes a lightweight, quick-seal cap, folding arms on the port to speed drying, and baffles in the body that allow the reservoir to maintain a lower profile when full
  • New Quick Link system in reservoir allows you to quickly snap off the tube for cleaning and easily attach accessories like filters, flow meters, and insulated tubes
  • Ample main compartment and multiple exterior pockets hold your rain gear, multi-tool, pump, spare tube, lunch, MP3, phone, wallet, and keys, while XC helmet carry stows your dome protector
  • NVIS back panel features six EVA foam pods covered in breathable mesh to balance support, flexibility, and ventilation
  • Fixed 1.5-inch belt with cargo pockets keeps the pack from bouncing around as you bomb downhill
  • HydroGuard anti-microbial technology inhibits bacterial growth on reservoir and tube surfaces
  • Ergo Hydrolock shut-off valve allows you to control water flow and prevents leaks
  • Distance from shoulder to hip belt: 16in (40cm)

THE BEST SMALL CAMELBAK!!!

This is by far my favorite small pack that camelbak offers. It is large enough that if you want to you can use it for a day trip (although its really tight and its hard to fit a jacket in it along with other supplies and food).

I own 6 camelbaks and I use this one the most because it is good for almost anything besides a big day trip or anything longer than a day. This is the second one of these that I have bought, I gave the first to my best friend after buying this years version of it.

I love the organization pockets and exterior pockets and the rain jacket is awesome. The built in rain jacket is such a plus because you can get away with not having a rain jacket on warm summer days (the important electronics and supplies will be kept dry inside your bag).

****NOTE***
Not all M.U.L.E.s have a built in rain jacket. Only the M.U.L.E. NV has one, not the standard version.

Does it comes with the rain cover?

Responded on

Hey Gil, the Mules does not come with a raincover, although the exterior is treated with a DWR.

This DOES come with a built in rain cover in the bottom zipper.

if you look at the picture of the pack, there's a small zipper pull tab on the very bottom, that's the zipper that opens up to the rain cover.

CamelBak M.U.L.E. NV Hydration Pack - 854cu in.

this pack rocks. plenty of room for all day rides but a great suspension design keeps it light on your back. i've been riding all kinds of stuff from XC-ish longer rides to lift served laps without feeling the need to take it off. the back panel keeps you well ventilated, the shoulder straps allow a great range of movement, and the helmet carry while designed for regular lids doubles as an awesome fullface carrier. get one!

would this bag be useful for school?

would this bag be useful for school?

Responded on

Nope. It's too small for books, binders, or a laptop. You will want a pack of at least 1500cu in up to around 2200cu in for school.

Wife Loves It

While white may not be the best color for the trail, my wife still loves it. Holds a lot of water, holds a lot of stuff, great for her on the trail, on her bike, or even a short trip to the park.
