Concert companion

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I wouldn't say this pack is a high quality but for the price its perfect. I wanted a cheap hydration pack that I could take to concerts and wouldn't have to worry about. This fits the bill perfectly. Its not the most comfortable pack and I don't know if I would want to run with it. I have used it on a few hikes and it was okay. The pocket on the front is perfect for an iphone 5s, some chapstick and your wallet.

perfect little hydration pack!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Recently bought this in the purple color... I love it! It is small so I can use it on short runs and it isn't too bulky. It holds 1.5 L which is a great amount for short hikes or a 5k. Filling it can be a little tricky sometimes, trying to keep any air bubbles out, but once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze. When it comes to drying it out, I think the best option is to have the hanger but as long as it is opened up it wont become moldy or stagnant smelling...

Easy to use and comfortable to wear :)

I have tried other water packs, but they were all too bulky and restricted arm movement. Aside from running, I work with horses, so it's important that I am able to move my arms without being hindered in any way. Great pack to take with you on trail rides! Just what I was looking for. Thank you Backcountry

Best little pack for riding and racing

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love this Camelbak. I never thought I would find one that's perfect or I actually "like", but this is it. This pack is barely noticeable and stays securely in place when the straps are tight. No chest strap is a bonus as I hate the way they feel on my upper body while riding. When you are working hard less is more in my opinion. The best part is that this pack is small enough so that it does not interfere with your jersey pockets, so you can easily grab a gel or snack while riding. At 1.5 L, combined with a bottle in the cage, this has been enough for ~35 miles. Anything beyond that and I have usually planned a spot to refill along the way or put another bottle in my jersey. There is also enough space to slide your pump next to the reservoir, and the one pocket is just enough for keys and a tool.

Perfect for a short hike or trail run

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I got this for my girlfriend to take on trail runs. She has a bigger Camelbak that she had been using for running, but it was kind of a pain to deal with because it was more bulky and threw off her balance. This is a great little hydration pack for running because it fits right between your shoulder blades on your upper back and doesn't bounce around at all. Highly recommended for short hikes, trail runs, or any activity that doesn't require more than 1.5 liters of water.
